Why won't Cerberus and other DLC codes work for all users on same 360?

My spouse and I both play games, and his account is the primary "Gold" account. I just have a "Silver". He got the DLC up and working fine, but when I log into my Gamertag to play, none of the DLC shows up at all. (It did for dragon age). I'm not normally much of a complainer, but we live in the same household, use the same xbox... Is it something we're doing wrong, or does Bioware honestly only want ONE of us to be able to access the goodies? (Really? would they really do that? That's just mean.) If they want us to pay twice for all the DLC so we can both play it, we probably won't buy any more DLC at all.

Anybody else having this issue?

Since I can't connect at all to get any DLC to verify what you are describing. I will end up with the same problem as that is the same arrangement in my home as well. I hope it isn't the case, but I've seen three other threads today saying as much. So it seems so but I cant say for sure.

Well customer support just closed its lines so now we cannot even call in. **** you EA thank you so much for making this the worst gaming experience of my entire life.

I'm posting this under my wife's account (My Gamertag is Darth Waya, hers is Ana Vatazes) We're both Xbox Live Gold members. My wife activated her Cerberus card last night. Tonight, I go to boot the game up, and it wants me to pay 1200 points ($15) for content that is already on the hard drive. We buy a LOT of DLC. We had a similar issue with Dragon Age, where I would have to log in as her profile first, log out, then log back in as myself in order to access any DLC that had been downloaded by her. Oddly enough, this issue didn't occur in the reverse order. (I purchased Warden's Keep with points from my profile, yet she never had any issues accessing the content.)
The DLC in both cases is on the same console it was originally downloaded to, yet I am being unfairly held up for additional money for content I have in essence already paid for.  We're not pirates, modders, or criminals. We happily pay for our content, and never does it occur to us to say "Oh all DLC should be free". We want the developers to have the money to continue creating top quality games, and maybe pay a bill or two along the way. But to attempt to double dip on us like this is to treat us, loyal customers, like thieves. If not rectified, this could honestly impact whether or not my family purchases any future BioWare titles, despite our love of the games and the quality thereof.

Thank you,Kepha, for your assistance. The second thread describes, in detail, how to fix this problem. However, I'm going to wait about a week to try it, because in my case it would require a phone call to EA, and I'm not going to wait on hold for an hour. Don't the companies that make the "on hold" music realize that after listening to that stuff for any length of time, a rational and sane person can go as rabid as Nicholson in "The Shining"? And they wonder why people get hostile; but I digress. Hopefully by then the phone traffic will have died down and I can get this fixed.

If one gamertag unlocks and downloads the content, another gamertag can ACCESS the content (as long as its on the hard disk).



The only caveat is that the cerberus laptop and feed wont open up for that second gamertag
