"Grinding" in Pokemon is actually lots of fun! I love to breed them to get perfect IVs and then he right EVs. The last generations were kinda boring because you just traded to get perfect IV pokes =(

I had more fun making my own perfected or almost perfect (usually skipped Attack or Special attack depending on the pokemon focus)

 

At kickstarter... I would love it if it was a retunr to Origins. Literally.

Games these days aim for the lowest common denominator, which means the "dumbest of the species" with money as that makes companies like Bioware and EA a lot of money for very little work involved..

Pokemon is a complex RPG system that I love a lot, it should be the standard to all RPG ever. So cool we can focus on building the team and battle tactics, a lot less childish than pressing left mouse button till victory.

Pokemon is an awesome (and mechanically complex) series of RPGs that is hugely popular. It's no surprise that it's outselling DAI, any more than it's a surprise that the latest Call Of Duty is doing the same.

 

As far as we can tell with limited information, Inquisition is selling just fine. The last thing EA said about it was that it had exceeded expectations, so I expect them to continue with the series.

Pokémon is a franchise that has lasted generations and is bought by everyone worldwide from children to the elderly because of various factors. It is no surprise that it can outsell major games. It will likely continue to do so for more than a few of years to say the least.

 

I'm also not sure what you mean by "lost generation"?

Pokemon is amazing. Dunno what OP has against it. The colourful and cute design? As everyone else already posted, the gameplay is great.

 

Inquisition has been Bioware's biggest launch anyway, and much exceeded their expectations.

 

So yay for great games selling everywhere!
