"XBLAFans spoke with Geoffrey Card — a designer with the game's developers Undead Labs — at PAX, and he revealed that a bunch of contractors working on the game thought it would be awesome to leave NSFW "calling cards" throughout State of Decay's visuals.

"Some of our contractors worked a ridiculous amount of genitalia into the background."

Because the game was originally released on XBLA, and featured relatively low-res textures, Card says these went unseen and unnoticed be players. It's only when the team were working on a hi-res remake that the dicks apparently became visible, and were quickly removed."

Great game, woefully overshadowed by The Last of Us being released the month after.

I never noticed.

 

Then again, I couldn't play the game for more than a few hours at a time, because the survivors suffered from severe mental deficiencies and would eat ALL the food and use ALL the ammo in about 20 minutes time, whenever they weren't out dying.

Yeah, some of the worst journalism comes from them but it was the first news story I saw on this matter so I settled with it.

I started playing the game two days ago, it's pretty enjoyable. I dropped kicked a zombie over a small fence and it cracked his head when he went over it backwards.

 

I keep getting "romance problems" messages because I've got some gay guy called "Joseph" in my camp who keeps trying to touch the straight Sheriff "Alan" which is pissing him off.

 

inb4 Joseph kills himself after the final rejection and comes back as a zombie known only as "Zombie J" lol.

Alan ain't the sheriff. He's a wildlife ranger. He just wants to be a big boy.
