I have the same instinct with Morrigan. I only have one character that romanced her, but she's by far my favorite character, and that's my fav DA romance. So I was a human mage in that pt, and she wasn't romanced, but I'm very fond of her and my mage likes her, and she's a loving mother, so my Quizzy took the plunge. It's not bad as a mage with arcane lore perk. He had a whole little debate about who would be the better choice and did glean some reduced knowledge from it that came up later. Some pts she'll be the one, but I don't think I'll let her risk it on my romanced pt. Because it will probably change her down the line, and considering the ending, it might not be Flymeth she needs to worry about. Also, early days, so we really don't know what story plans might change during the dev cycle. Lots of things inevitably do. So it's a risk no matter what Flymeth's plans were. I don't think I could let that happen.

I remember Flemeth say to Morrigan: "You were never in any danger from me, girl."

Flemeth obvioulsy wanted Morrigan to obtain the power that can protect her and make her even stronger. And it actually fits. Why should Flemeth go through all this just to lure Morrigan into a trap? Flemeth knew she balanced on an edge. And she helped the inquisitor. By doing so she knew her destiny was decided.

I have to load a previous save and let her drink this time.

 

I still don't know if I completely trust Flemeth, but I've come to the same conclusion - that the well can make her stronger, and I think that's good for her.
