Piece of cake OP, just take a Demolisher and pre-set the map to Hydra .. you can google what to do from there ... only the most uberleet players do it this way ..

Have you tried Condor instead, with all that open space you will see the enemy from miles away which gives you plenty of time to prepare your heavy melee strategy. In my best bronze solo attempt I made it to the end of wave 4 in only 2 hours and 34 minutes but got synced by a nemesis, will do hard core bronze solo attempts all weekend, might even get to wave 5!

I tried this and got to wave 8 with Nuc and Nugs, but then the Dragoons kept lash spamming us into the lava.  Well, we decided to change the faction to Geth, and after 7 intense hours, I finally got my first Bronze solo!!

 

We were so excited that we got a little cocky.  We decided to do a different open map, Hydra, and do a themed three man solo, Quarians vs Geth, on Silver (dun dun DUNN). 

We did really well until wave 5, and the last unit, a Geth Rocket Trooper, basically ran away from us, skillfully backpeddling while unloading machine gun-like rocket spam at us until it finally reached the back of the map, where it proceeded to rocket jump over the wall by the dam.  We couldn't reach it!  It was so frustrating, especially after 4 hours invested after such a huge rush! 

 

It started pop-locking and mocking us while shooting its rockets into the air.  I really wish I could understand that weird Geth mumbling:
