... if you do nothing else with this game Bioware, please please please add a run toggle to the multiplayer. I actually have borderline RSI (no joke) as a result of prolonged plays of DAMP. The PS4 controller is the bugbear - having to permanently push down on the thumb stick, while gripping the overly large (and badly designed) side-grip makes prolonged play quite painful. I've never suffered from this before, but at the moment I'm taking a break from gaming (as much as my addiction will allow). It's kind of funny and worrying at the same time. Alas.

PS4 controller issues aside, I don't see any logical reason in this game why your character couldn't/shouldn't be always running. At least having the option would be nice. Give some love to our gaming digits please ;)

I don't get it either. Just remove the necessity to click the stick and adjust the basic run speed accordingly. Say what you will about DA2, but it makes sense for the characters to dash as fast as they can during combat, and having a slower jog when exploring.

Just don't remove the "walking" treshold. I'd have less ways to entertain those who see me as their personal, death-defying locksmith.

While we're at it: The running animation is played too slowly for the distance they cover. It looks weird and unresponsive. Classic neo Fallout 3rd person cam ice skating.

1. Movement speed. No sorry, with extremely limited character building, only 4 abilities and no interaction beside killing stuff this can safely be called an action game. Moving around as a snail, then pressing shift just to accelerate to the speed of a rheumatic turtle isn't actiony. 'Oh hey, there are 10 archers shooting at me, let's run away - but slowly'.

^ I found this hilarious and accurate: the difference between walking and running isn't worth pressing any button

Get yourself a TitanOne or CronusMax and you can play with an Xbox controller (or Keyboard/Mouse) on your PS4. :)

Its not so bad, you only have to click once to start running, its not like you have to hold it down or anything. I agree though that it msy as well be made the normal movement speed as the game feels slow enough as it is, and it is a pointless use of clicking a button.

Im now expecting somebody to describe this as "dumbing down" and to insist on the extra controller press because it "adds to the immersion and roleplay".

You have to hold the stick down? Really? I was sure you just clicked it. Have I been walking through games this entire time?

No kidding. If you are getting injuries from a video game you are a sickly person.

You just need to click it to run, you don't need to hold down the button.

It would be cool though, if the classes with Stamina as a ressource could spend some of it on Sprinting.

Even clicking is wear-and-tear on your joysticks. I wore out two controllers playing ME3MP for 2 years.

2 controllers in 2 years is nothing. Back in the days of Mechassault, I would break a new controller in 2 weeks due to wall walking. Even now with less strenous controller movements I still break a new controller in 2 months. With this game, i have broken my 'A' button.

THE ORIGINAL XBOX LIVE LAUNCH GAME.

Bioware is all about player choice. Choose to stroll or choose to stroll a bit faster. You always run in SP removing the need to choose.

Bioware has noted this error. Patch imminent.
