Looking forward to a more substantial challenge this weekend after last weekend's straight-forward entry?
Do you remember when MEMP would theme the imminent arrival of DLC with a related challenge?
There's got to be something coming soonTM, I feel it in my bones...
And the weekend Twitch is back at 10.00am PST.

Why is everyone comparing this to MEMP?
One you fight off waves of enemies and shoot guns and the other is a dungeon crawler closer to Diablo but with a worse loot system.

Nothing can be worse than Diablo loot system. Ever.
For some reason I think it may have something to do with matches vs the chosen faction. Like 25 games against faction X as a personal.

*shrug*
Honestly, given what I've seen lately (that is, I'm in lobbies with the same people over and over again), player numbers are cratering.

Hmmm stampede of Druffalos, kill 200,000.
That would be amusing...

Draffalocoaster (love the name) is kind of like Geth stunlock in ME3MP. Once you start getting run over by the Druffalo there are very few ways out of the animation, and you just keep taking damage so quickly that you usually die.

DAMP's loot system has many advantages over MEMP.
Firstly, there are only 66 weapons of level 20+ to unlock vs. the 210 Ultra Rare unlocks in MEMP.
Secondly, you can salvage unwanted gear, which was not possible in MEMP.
The saving grace MEMP had was that each U/R unlock was removed from the drop options.
Whilst the horde vs. crawl is different, they are clearly made by the same people as many mechanics are common.

Well, not really.
One is a third person shooter co-op and the other is a hack and slash/auto lock enemy cycling co-op.
The game mechanics are vastly different.

Loooooooool. No.

Didn't need a salvage option because it didn't have such a crap loot system with an inventory cap. What good is salvaging here anyway?

Yeah... Salvaging would be a good justification if it was actually useful... But at the moment it is a way that i can convert my junk to more junk. But the converted junk doesn't take up a slot in my inventory.
What would be useful would be a merchant that bought my junk so I can buy more boxes of junk and continue the junk grind.

And the loot you gain does not get removed from the loot table so you can theoretically get the same loot an infinite amount of times. Oh you got your 20th Highland Dirk? Have another!Loooooooool. No.

TBH I am surprised people who want to relive MEMP are wasting their time on DAMP when they could be playing Destiny which is pretty much the same as MEMP with the same unforgiving grind.

General comment to those not feeling it:
Truly, if you don't like it anymore (or at all) do something else.
Or did whining about it endlessly become an online DLC alternative to playing

What Destiny is missing compared to ME3MP is the variety of play styles. It isn't a terrible game, but being that the play style is pretty similar between the three characters.

No. I paid for the game, and I'll complain till I get bored of that too.
I hope that is entertaining for you.
I expect however your boredom thresholds for enjoyment and complaining are not identical, hmmm? ![]()
(I will admit I gave DAMP a rest for a couple of weeks to polish off Assassin's Creed Unity.
After opening 300 assassin chests and collecting endless, er, collectibles,
a dungeon crawl with an RNG looks more appealing)
