360 at 6009, so we didn't make it.

 

Given 1 Druffalo per match that means only 6009 matches were played on 360 in 2+ days. That's really, really sad.

Unless 1 killed by a 4 man team = 4 points to the community goal. That means just over 1500 games were played which is even sadder.

As sparsely populated as XBOX 360 may be there have be more than 67 people playing the game.

 

In other words, if XBOX 360 players really wanted to slaughter 8,000 druffalos, they could have.

 

I think the rewards are not good enough to motivate people to change their behavior for the sake of a challenge.

My perspective as a casual gamer on 360 - I soloed one match, killed one drufallo. Got nothing in the chest I bought with the bit of gold I got and thought about how disappointing all the chests I've opened have been and I quit.
I tried to soldier on, but the rng is so random and without clear progression I can't commit the time or energy.

I don't think it's going to be good news... 

 

PS4 were doing around 580 Druffalo/hour, so they should hit around 35,000 Druffalo, total.

XB1 were doing around 520 Druffalo/hour, so they should hit around 31,000 Druffalo, total.

Assuming PC, XB360 and PS3 all come in on schedule (not a given sadly) that's another 25,000, 8,000 and 8,000 Druffalo.

 

Very sorry to be a statistical grumpy, I'd love to see the stretch target hit, but I reckon 110,000 is the best it will be this time   .

It's too bad we missed the chest, every one I get is one chest closer to my 20th superb spirit rune.

There definitely weren't enough people playing in my region to bring it home. I only saw 9 in routine/threatening PuGs. 1 lone AW in perilous.
