Complete rebalance of classes. There really is no reason to play any other class other than Immortal Warrior.

Buff melee class Guard. It is completely useless, lasts you two hits if you're lucky and generates very slowly.

Add anything that  comes to mind. I'm sure there is a lot to be added.

Well, to be honest, more classes are super useful (archers, keepers, elems, arcane warrios, legionnaires come to mind), but the whole MP is unbalanced. I mean, come on, there have been what, 2 balance tweaks to classes since the release (nerf of the Reaver and boost of barriers, lol)? ME3 had weekly !!! balance changes.

Guard should be buffed. It is using the SP mechanic, when its strength derives from one's armor rating. And barriers should be nerfed a bit.

- More maps

- More enemies (darkspawn, carta smugglers, anything)

- The option to fight dragons (either by adding them to the perilous roster of beasts or create a small new map for just them)

- The option to choose your enemy

- More expensive chest with guaranteed better loot, guaranteed rare loot for community challenges and rework the RNG ridiculousness

- Change the item lvls. Instead of getting the same weapons (that are useless and will be salvaged) do it like in ME3 - if you get the same weapon, it is improved. So you can work towards the goal of getting everything and not depend on sheer luck. Ofc this would mean a change to the crafting system would be required (mats could drop from chests directly)

I am sure I am forgetting something, but this will do for now.

And for crying out loud BW, hire more people to take care of the game post-launch (both for MP and SP), right now it feels like there is only a skeleton crew left.

Loot gets better how you play more. Gradually gets better and better drops.

Removing sprint function and having a constant runing speed would be good as well.

My biggest suggestion for how to improve multiplayer:

Get rid of it.

It wasn't necessary in this game at all. It just took resources that would have been better spent improving on the single player campaign. People who want multiplayer can go play one of the millions of other mindless titles out there. Leave our story games alone.

Brace yourself. This is not a popular statement here on BSN among EA supporters, I was bashed for it for over a day. Ofc by people who have (just as I) no experience working for a company such as EA :)

Enemy archers should be nerfed... Three shots and you're dead.

I personally don't mind it, I treat it as more role playing, so it's a part of my game. But when someone starts coughing in the mic, it kind of ruins it.

I did work for EA for a while. (Just as a gameadvisor, nothing special). It was actually really great.

As for people's opinions, well of course they're entitled to them. If someone loves multiplayer games, great for them. I just don't. I feel like adding a multiplayer element wasn't necessary. I'm just glad they didn't make it mandatory like ME3's. I like ME3 mp and all but when I go to finish up a playthrough I don't want to be forced to play hours of it to do so. A single player game I can pause, MP I can't and I have a toddler to take care of. That doesn't leave a lot of time for games I can't pause.

I should have specified it - worked for an EA on higher tier position. Somebody who would have some real insight into their budgets, decisions etc. But that is basically just hoping for a whistle-blower to appear.

Agree, the ME3MP being tied to SP was a terrible move. After the launch even with a full paragon run of ME/ME2 you still had to play a few games for the best possible ending, that should never be the case for a story driven SP game (great for DAI for not doing that). Luckily the ME3MP was well done and was continually improved over the time, and with care (not so great for DAI for not doing that :D ).

But yeah, MP slapped on a SP game is never necessary. There are tons of full pvp MP and co-op MP games that will still do their MP part better. SP games should just focus on their SP part. Release a full ME MP game with both pvp and co-op, I might buy it if it is good and I bet many people would buy it as well, but there is no need for MP in a SP game (there is just the greed to milk it easily with microtransactions).

That is not a suggestion. That's just a useless opinion of someone who shouldn't even post in a topic if you don't want multiplayer.

I don't like EA just as much as any other person, they're the Apple of gaming. But they're here, and DAI has multiplayer.

Dragons

Hell yes. I'd love to see them as enemies as well. Random mooks would be dragonlings and wywerns and then the 5/5 would be a dragon fight :D

Use the same system that you use in single player. Cap the player levels at 20. The multiplayer would then be more fun all around. IMO
