Does anyone know anything about the wedding you can find in Val Royeaux? Supposedly, at some point (I don't know what triggers it), you can find a young couple getting married and you can offer your blessing. There's videos of it on Youtube, and it's one of the options in the Keep. But I don't know how to find it...

You need to finish the War table mission related to them. http://dragonage.wik...g_Things_Moving

Okay. I remember doing that operation. I didn't realize you could find them in Val Royeaux afterward. Do you know where they are?

Second floor, you need to use the southwest fast travel.

Thanks for the help. I haven't searched Val Royeaux thoroughly enough, it seems.

Is it just this quest that unlocks them? Or do you have to finish the chain and have it end up with them getting married in the capital? It seems like there's a few different endings. http://dragonage.wik..._From_the_Heart

yes you need to finish the chain quest, if you choose Josephine the young couple will marry, if you choose Leliana the girl will maryy a older noble for political reasons (you can tell her to forget her lover and dedicate to the marriage or tell her marriages are for alliances and incentive her to keep her lover, her husband will agree) or use Cullen to let the cuple marry at the Free Marches (they will not be in Val royeaux).

So, am I correct in getting from this that to find them in Val Royeaux, you have to use Josephine?

Josephine for the couple or Leliana for Celeste and the old guy.

So, if it's Leliana, you'll find them in Val Royeaux too? Just with the old guy?

Can the Inquisitor offer their blessing on either marriage?

Yes. With the young couple you can incentive them to put love first or say while they love themselves they still have a duty to make their houses more powerful, with the old guy you can incentive Celeste to forget her lover and focus or her marriage or say that marriage are only for politics and she should keep her love, if you says the latter, the old guy will agree.

I did the entire "Alliances" operations which ended in a wedding in Val Royeaux, but I was never invited to the wedding and I wondered when that was supposed to happen. According to the Wiki, the Inquisitor is supposed to be able to go to the wedding and speak.

The outcome (and progress) for the whole chain can be overheard.  The matchmaker is gossiping about it as you walk through Val Royeaux.  No matter how you resolve the chain, there will be something to witness in one of the large open areas on one of the upper tiers, and you can interact with them in at least 2 of the outcomes.  I usually have the couple elope so I can tell the matchmaker to mind her own business, or at least that's my mental interpretation of the interaction.  I tried most of the permutations of the chain, and there is at least one outcome that I didn't follow up on, because I didn't read all the text and wound up doing the opposite of what I wanted.  I don't think there is any difference in actual reward, other than a very trifling influence advantage to doing it one way rather than the other.  It's just the tone of gossip that changes in the capital.  Maybe in DA4 there might be a different wartable op or codex entry, but most likely it's just something interesting to do in Val Royeaux.
