Anyway, I was just thinking about him and I got all emotional(which isn't like me at all) and I wanted to share my feelings somewhere to vent a bit.
Anyone else have someone that they used to be really close with that's no longer in their lives? They don't have to be dead, it could be an ex, or a friend you no longer speak with.

So I'm in a bit of a sad mood today, and I got to thinking of my god father. Steven delisle. Who is deceased now. He died in 2005, when I was 10. We were close, and he was my dad's best pal. I miss him so much.

Yeah baby but not for talking about it here. You know I'm there for you if you need to talk, I don't like it when you're sad, always used to seeing you strong but glad that you can show your soft side as well.

Still, those who are gone would not want us to feel sad if they really loved us, so I find it best to remember how they were and try to bring that sense of caring to those closest to me that are still here.
Plus, it never hurts to throw back a few adult beverages in honor of those who aren't with us any longer.

Seriously? Really seriously?
Ahmed, my childhood best friend, who died in a motorcycle accident a couple of years back. I cannot embrace or explain my feelings when I face the fact that he doesn't exist any longer. It's an unreality. There's a wall of something unpenetrable.
Ann, my girlfriend throughout my school years. Who is married with family. Why, why, why, was my head so clouded and confused when I was younger?

One of my 3 cats died from feline leukemia about 2 months ago and I wasn't, and am still not very sad about it.
One of my grandfathers, whom I was close to, died when I was 12 and didn't and still don't feel sad about it.

Your emotions.
Not to sound like an *******, but no, I detach from people easily if it is out of my control.

Guys I wasn't trying to cause problems or upset anyone with this. I just wanted to vent, and I do feel better now that I got it out.
Dude catharsis is a good thing.
