Anyone else tired of hearing this line over and over and over again?

You're right, i'm not good at it. I just focus on the enemies that need to be killed.

My parakeet was blue too when i slammed it between the door. And then it died. Have you ever seen a mushy parakeet? And i got good money for it too.

would be nice if the banter was related to what happens on screen.. code is already there... they probably already have the .wave files saved somewhere

You obviously haven't heard the line enough if you haven't yet heard that reply. :-)

Turn your in game dialogue volume down. I did weeks ago and haven't looked back. The annoying banter and screaming from fire/panic is a distant memory.
Hey that screaming in pain is actually hillarious to me. We can keep that one. We can also keep "feed the earth", that one makes me smile.

must be the masochist in me. I too find their pain responses to be funny.

I think some of it is. On the banner placement screen often times one of the chars is saying something related to their position, or maybe it's just coincidence.
On a related note I love alchemist banter. "BOOM!"

With two assassins in the team, the other will respond, We should get another one. Makes the dialogue less confusing for me anyway.

Before DAMP came out I was excited about playing established characters with their own personalities, but after playing multiplayer and having to hear the same one or two lines repeated twenty times in a match, I am going to have to respectfully ask that BioWare goes back to the ME 3 MP character model.
It's kinda odd that BioWare, a developer well know for their character interactions, would fumble so hard on this element (IMO). Look at the banter between the hunters in Evolve to see character interaction in a MP setting done right (again IMO). In that game you can have lengthy discussions involving all four members of the squad with topics ranging from the silly, to talks about the setting and character backgrounds.
In short, unless BioWare is going to give us (at least) Evolve levels of character interaction for their MP, I would rather they go back to blank slates that the ME 3 MP kits had.

Seems to me that there's some 600-800 lines of dialogue from the DAMP characters.
That's not a small quality of conversation...

Not insignificant, but the DAMP banter pales in comparison to the Evolve banter (IMO).
In DAMP each character has one line of dialogue and then and then one response to another character's dialogue. In Evolve each character has several lines of dialogue which change depending on the hunters involved, the map being played on, the location the hunters are in while playing said map, the monster being hunted etc. Now it is true that there are bits of dialogue that get repeated; especially if you are playing on the same map with the same group of hunters, but the biggest thing is that such repeats only occur once per match, and in general the conversations between the characters feel much more natural.
