They looked at Tumblr wishlists.
OK maybe not. Who wished for Jacob to get through this?
They probably didn't have a placeholder for Jacob. His replacement does the same moves in combat as Jacob despite being a scientist.

We need to recruit this guy.
We need to recruit this guy.
Yes and Dr. Brynn Cole
In the scene at the end of the mission, what are the squadmates doing when Shepard falls over? A whole lot of nothing. But...Look here. Its Dr.Brynn Cole to the rescue. She runs out there and helps Shepard while Jacob/Webber provide cover fire. What are the ME3 squadmates doing? Lets ask them
Ashley and Tali: We were getting drunk
Garrus: I was doing some calibrating
Liara: I was taking armor from dead bodies
Kaidan: My implants were giving me a headache
James: I was getting a tattoo
Javik: I don't care about you primitives
edi: I was trying to think of a joke

Dr. Brynn is LadyHawke. And it's the Inquisitor who set us up with that mission to begin with. Good times.
You may find this interesting...

I thought she was really cool, for what little we see of her. Jumping out to rescue Shepard like that.
On Cronos, Shepard can view a log with TIM being implanted. She then talks to TIM via QEC and his face is normal. Then on the Citadel his face is a mess. What happened between the last two events that deformed his face that much?

Maybe the stuff on the Citadel was never a real event at all. Cue Indoctrination Theory

Two months is a long time.....
'scuse the glare, got no hair, I don't care...... Rogaine.
Nope. One month!
“One month after the devastating geth attack on the Citadel, humanity seized political control of the galaxy.
Now the human-led Council is forced to respond to evidence that the Reapers -- enormous machines that eradicate all advanced civilizations every 50,000 years — have returned. To quell the rumors, the Council has sent Commander Shepard and the Normandy to wipe out the last pockets of geth resistance. Officially, they blame the invasion on the geth and their leader, a rogue Spectre.
But for those who know the truth, the search for answers is just beginning.”
And why I'm showing this? Because ME1 (IMO) didn't happen in just a few days or even 1 week, so Shepard's hair could grow like in the ME2 beggining Scene. Plus, the error still stand if you are a red haired Shep, like Fixers said.

Says you. My Inquisitor shares her voice actress with Nyreen Kandros. ![]()

My bad... helped save Omega then. ![]()
Even if your Shepard is bald in ME1, in ME2 Prologue before Shepard putting his helmet on, you can still see hair.
It's because of how that section is built. Prologue always loads default Manshep/Femshep regardless of what the player picks: import/default/custom character. I had a custom Femshep imported but a quick glance revealed the default character when she puts the helmet on.
Only when you're done with the prologue the CC boots up and saves the character appearance. Weird system, but it is what it is.

As an aside, I really hate this trend of really long opening sequences before getting to character creation. It sucks. It's worse if you have the Genesis Dark Horse Comics DLC installed, even though you can skip through most of it.

A minor nitpick...
But machine guns like the Revenant being inaccurate at range. In the real world machine guns have much greater effective ranges than assault rifles.
Yeah, but LMGs are used completly wrong in almost every videogame anyway, so they have to nerf them in order to not make them OP.
'Suppressive fire' seems to be a concept that most action directors and game developers have never heard of, so instead they have characters lob around LMGs in CQ, which is stupid.
Ditto.
I hated having to go through the whole prologue again and again because I kept making ugly Shepherds. There's no Black Emporium type cc redo option either so you're forced to restart if you don't want to be gruesome for the whole game. Ugh.
There were no plastic surgeons in the Mass Effect Universe.

You could change it by modding your savegame, there are some tools you can use to create shepards that aren't even possible in the standart editor. Not sure if that was possible in ME 1 and 2, but I did it in 3. Sucks for consoles though.
They had them in Thedas. Look at what happened to Isabela between DAO and DA2

Why are there explosions seen after the crucible fires in destroy and synthesis, but not control? How come the space magic isn't seen being fired from the citadel tower in control?

I always thought that Control explosion is not an explosion per se. The other two options change things, Control is basically an order to all Reapers to cease fire. I think it is some kind of a signal, amplified with the Crucible to reach all parts of the galaxy fast enough.
I chose synthesis the last time. I'm dead. Why do I care about the Citadel or the mass relays anymore?
Now if only The Illusive Man had remembered, things might have been different in the end.
