Why does the Blood Pack logo have a human fist in the logo? Neither Krogan nor Vorcha have five fingers on each hand.

Lol nice catch!

If Tali dies in ME3, a mournful Garrus will take a moment to recall the word "angel," and apply it to what he imagines she looked like.

This is the guy who styled himself Archangel because some people he rescued called him their guardian angel. Either he's abnormally forgetful or the writers are.

If you are feeling generous, this may be an issue of translation.

I guess it is possible that the word "Archangel" in turian actually is a word that has nothing to do with angel, maybe something that would more literally translate into "spirit general" but which the translator - taking human cultural etymology into account - references as "Archangel". In the Tali scene however, Garrus specifically refers to "what do you humans call it? An angel", which in turian maybe a fairly unrelated term (or even a concept that doesn't quite exist in the turian spirit based religion).

This kind of thing can happen quite a lot even when translating between languages on earth today. But yea, as I said, that's a generous interpretation. More likely the writers really did just forget. :)

Garrus tells you the locals started calling him Archangel, does he not?

He did. Mass Effect: Homeworlds provides the specifics:

"Upon arrival at the station, Garrus stops a vorcha from mugging an elderly human couple, who thank him and call him a "real-life angel". At Afterlife, Garrus meets Sidonis and the two agree to form a squad to combat Omega's criminals. Garrus assumes the moniker of "Archangel" and spreads the word of what he's doing by going after thugs personally."

Interesting, but that suggests he gave himself the name. He didn't though. Mass Effect 2 says so. Although, I don't think this changes your actual point.

As a side note, I had to check 3 LP's to find one that did that dialogue option. Weird.

The two sources don't contradict each other. Both claim the locals coined the term. Garrus just modestly downplays how much he embraced it in front of his role model.

Emphasis mine. It's a very minor issue and doesn't affect anything so it really doesn't matter, but they are different. The reason I'm continuing this though is that this is a perfect example of one of my problems with secondary media like the comics and why I always say it doesn't matter in conversations over the games' story.

The comic suggests someone called him an angel to his face, then Garrus took on the persona of Archangel like a super hero. The game suggest Garrus and company just started doing their thing and locals started referring to him as Archangel. It's a difference in how much Garrus played an active role in it. The bold is not suggested in any way by the games, but is rather your attempt to align the two sources. I don't think secondary media, which is non-essential side content, should ever change our understanding of something in the primary media.

That said, I do like your interpretation, like Garrus is a bit embarrassed. That's supported by the way he tells Shepard to just call him Garrus.

Another thing that doesn't make sense. Aria T'lok has tighter security in ME2 than the galactic council in ME1 and arguably ME2 as well

The afterlife nightclub: A mean batarian has to scan your body and confirm your identity before you're allowed to speak to the boss. Said boss is also surrounded by armed thugs.

Presidium tower: ****** nothing.

Actually if you take... I can't remember who, I think Garrus or someone else, and you interact with them in the Presidium Towers, he will say something to the effect of 'I wonder how many sniper cross hairs are trained on us right now.'

Just because you can't see them doesn't mean they aren't there.

I don't think anyone can simply enter the Presidium. Seems like its a section where only influential diplomats, military officers and Citadel highest echelon could come. And the best security isn't the one that is most flashiest.

And Emily Wong.

And that guy asking you to go find his brother.

Honestly, makes me wonder why the geth army and convoluted Conduit business was necessary to take the Citadel controls when Saren, Benezia, and their entourage of asari commandoes and krogan mercs could have simply taken the elevator up, broke it, and taken up defensive positions for as long as Sovereign needed.

It's in the codex that they have translators. It's actually from the DLC Bring Down the Sky.

Which nobody notices. It would have been cool if it was mentioned in ME2 or ME3. Ashley is probably making an assumption, trying to put a reason behind what she sees.

Filed Wong under member of the press seem to be allowed up there, That guy was probably some kind of petitioner with a permit from Udina to bugger the higher ups about his case or so. But yeah it´s a bit weird. Anyways, I assume that an entourage of heavily armed krogans and asari would have an involuntary stop in the middle of the tower.

Saren could smuggle geth army in some crates just like that with his Spectre pass. Nothing really stopped him from getting all his forces on Citadel by legal means. Until he started to look for a backdoor (and lost his Spectre status as result) he didn't even need it.

I guess writers just realized this too late in development, when they wrote a reason for player to fly around and discover Prothean/Reaper story. So Shepard finally gets to Illos, hears the whole story first-hand and gets a tool to stop Saren, but what is Saren doing there if he knows that story from Sovy already? Isn't he supposed to attack Citadel or something? Alright, let's just put mini-relay there so both Shepard and Saren could get to Citadel for final battle right away.
