I consider Inquisition on NM more difficult than Origins on NM. Though I consider both far easier than DA2 on NM.
I also consider Inquisition too difficult on NM to just throw Berserk on something and and go and beat on things, expecting to win without issue. It has its uses, I've run it on Artificer due to Fallback Plan, stealth allowing aggro drops, and using Leaping Shot evasion, and Elemental Mines (both as a defensive measure for my flanks, and as a trap to pull enemies over via Fallback Plan) all giving me defensive options that can also be used offensively. It's the ideal class for Berserk, and one that really makes excellent use of the increased damage, especially because, when played right, and avoiding AoE, it shouldn't be taking any damage. If the Artificer is caught all alone after dragging an enemy back with it, then the odds are it's going to get mauled anyway, unless Stealth or Leaping Shot/Flank Attack is off cooldown anyway.
Because of the cooldown reductions, and stamina being a non-issue via Looked Like it Hurt (and Artificer's having the highest crit chance), that's the class I'd stick it on first.
Support mages, especially ones running Peaceful Aura, and just setting up combos via Winter's Grasp, and Dispel (maybe a Blizzard mage Hard/NM) could also get a little extra oomph in its attacks.
Reaver's probably not the class you want to use it on. In theory it's solid, and I suppose if you had awesome Guard generation, 2 Barrier mages, and some increased healing + crit gear for Devour it might work. It's still probably not a great idea.
Necromancer on the other hand is an awesome idea I never thought of. Death Siphon doesn't have a range restriction, which means you could sit back, play support/lay down DoTs, and they'd get extra damage. If you go down, then your passive kicks in anyway.
