I'm still doing this playthrough (but at least I stopped trying to mine every single planet. herp.)

Anyway, I just had a couple questions.

#1. I hear that if you wait until after the Suicide Mission, you get some interesting dialogue options in Lair of teh Shadow Brokerz. True? False?

#2. Besides that ^ is there really any advantage to waiting until after the suicide mission? Any advantage of doing it beforehand?

#3. I miiiight have romanced Liara, dumped her for Jack, and dumped Jack for Tali. (Seriously all Jack says now is "f*** off!") There's no way to accidentally sleep with Liara or something, right? Because I didn't see her for 2 years then she was like Shepard let's make out in front of your friends! Nomnomnom. I don't wanna jeopardize my wonderful future with Tali'Zorah vas Sexy.

(Spoilers OK, I've beaten it before.) Thank you, beautiful people!

Not sure about what differences you get during the mission portion by doing it before or after the SM. Obviously, the SB can't say to Shepard "the Collector's offer still stands." The "date" with Liara will differ a bit based one whether you have the date before or after the SM. Here is after the SM. Here is before the SM.

If you do the mission after having romanced someone else, when you ask her "What about us" right after killing Vasir (you have to take a paragon interrupt to get this dialogue) then she will confront you over your new LI. Not sure how the date on the Normandy goes. I wouldn't worry about it.

I have always done the SB mission well before the SM so that I can get the upgrades and have access to the terminal that allows me to reset my squad mate powers. None of those things matter if the SB mission is your last mission and decreases the value of the DLC.

Excellent response! You have my thanks.

I prefer LotSB after the Suicide Mission because the dialogue is more focused on the Reapers, rather than the Collectors, and foreshadows Arrival & ME3.

On the other hand you miss out on the resource bonuses, since you're pretty much beyond the end game at that point. All you have left is maybe Overlord, if you haven't done that yet, and Arrival.

So I think LotSB works best after the SM for story reasons, and better before the SM for gameplay reasons. It depends on which you prefer I suppose.
