The only reason I did not go into detail is because it has all been said before but there are many passives in the Mage tress that simply don't work. Then their is the Rift Mage weakness bug. If you use a move that applies Weakness on a target that already has Weakness then that target will be immune to Weakness for the time that it would normaly be inflicted by it.
I have also read many other posts reporting that there are passives and skills in the other class trees that don't work like they are ment to or just don't work at all.
I don't think weakness is bugged. I believe debuffs and cc are removed when combos are detonated. Also, I think when you do the weakness/shock combo, it puts the enemies to SLEEP and removes debuffs (weakness). I haven't fully tested it but I think it's currently functional.

If you look at that post, you will see, not much remains bugged in combat mechanics other than some descrepencies between weapon restrictions on certain warrior skills and some other minor skills here and there.
Bioware recently patched all abilities that provide armor bonuses. So they now work correctly. Warcry + upgrade makes warriors invincible to physical attacks. It's just great.
Many patches ago, two-handed detonators were fixed. Immolate detonation was fixed. Stonefist remains unfixed but is damn good even without detonation!
I personally think Hit-Boxes could be improved on Dual Wield Rogue abilities and some other melee skills on warriors.
