I understand that it takes time to fix problems but it has been almost 5 months since the release of this game and there are still core combat machanics that don't work.

No matter how much the bugs and glitches this game has had have annoyed me I have always tried to remain polite when reporting or talking about them but this is just stupid.

It's a bit strange they haven't fixed at least some of the combat bugs.

Yeah fixing the duping glitches before they fix the actual broken skills is laughable.

I find it hilarious because of all the over-the-top frustration it causes. So that one is OK by my.

Why it takes this long? They are now into final development of DAI. DAI is now at last going from RC (release candidate) to RTM (release to manufacturing). At least that's my fantasy.

Your post gives nothing to Bioware. It's vague. Could you list the problems you are experiencing with the combat?

The only reason I did not go into detail is because it has all been said before but there are many passives in the Mage tress that simply don't work. Then their is the Rift Mage weakness bug. If you use a move that applies Weakness on a target that already has Weakness then that target will be immune to Weakness for the time that it would normaly be inflicted by it.

I have also read many other posts reporting that there are passives and skills in the other class trees that don't work like they are ment to or just don't work at all.

I don't think weakness is bugged. I believe debuffs and cc are removed when combos are detonated. Also, I think when you do the weakness/shock combo, it puts the enemies to SLEEP and removes debuffs (weakness). I haven't fully tested it but I think it's currently functional.

If you look at that post, you will see, not much remains bugged in combat mechanics other than some descrepencies between weapon restrictions on certain warrior skills and some other minor skills here and there.

Bioware recently patched all abilities that provide armor bonuses. So they now work correctly. Warcry + upgrade makes warriors invincible to physical attacks. It's just great.

Many patches ago, two-handed detonators were fixed. Immolate detonation was fixed. Stonefist remains unfixed but is damn good even without detonation!

I personally think Hit-Boxes could be improved on Dual Wield Rogue abilities and some other melee skills on warriors.

I didn't even use the duping glitches but still. It's a single player game part they fixed. Why fix that before the actual broken crap? Just made me smh.

If they had fixed mp bugs I wouldn't have been happy but I'd understood the priority.

Which mage passives or skills are broken?

The only one I know of is Stone Fist not doing damage on detonations.

Gathering Storm may be broken, but it's reported (and believable) that it actually only procs on specific animations (so you have to chain your attacks to get the combo where it reduces cooldown).

Stormbringer has always worked, but its range is very small.

The effects don't always match the tool tips, but most everything seems to at least work now.

Sad isnt it?  Starting to see whats going on yet? Theyre stringing you along, until you move onto another game.. Much like several previous EA published titles.. Anyone remember Kingdoms of Amalur?

"We are aware of the problems, and while we cannot give you a time frame, on the fixes, we can assure you, they are coming"

Sound familiar?  Youll see that exact sentence on any game forum.. Most notably, those with bad releases..
