At what price point would you buy the ME2/3 DLC?

I figured that rather then moaning about the lack of sales on PC DLC I would do some market research amongst gamers about how much they would pay to actually get the DLC, maybe if someone at Bioware sees enough responses in this thread with actual numbers, maybe THEN we will get a discount. Or maybe I'm just a dreamer... ;)

I checked the Bioware sites today, and the cost of the story DLC's from ME2 would add up to 25.60 Euros. For ME3 its 40.00 Euros flat.

Frankly at those price points, I will never buy the DLC.

For me personally, I would purchase the ME2 DLC if it was 50% off. So 12.80 Euros would get me purchasing, I would probably still grumble about it being worth more then the whole trilogy, but I would purchase at that price point. 10.00 Euro would be better though.

For ME3, I think my price point would be somewhere between 15-20 Euros. At 15 i would definitely make the purchase. At 20 I would umm and ahh and I cant say if I would purchase it for sure or not. 20 Euros is still a lot for 3 year old DLC's.

So those are my numbers - 12.80 Euros for ME2, and 15 Euros for ME3 DLC. What would you pay to purchase the DLC's tomorrow?

I would pay full price :) Although I already have all the story DLCs so I wouldn't buy them again but if I wouldn't have them I would buy them at full price.

At this stage I think they may as well release a gold edition or something that includes all DLC's. And yes, DLCs combined should not exceed the actual game price or it will discourage anyone from buying the game (unless it is a new release). The fact that they don't do this is encouraging piracy.

I have all mission DLC. Those are so old now the 50% pricedrop would probably persuade everyone to buy them.

Nonmission aka Horse Armor DLC clones should be free.

But in fact even if the price will stay the same, it's Bioware points that should be removed from Origin and people allowed to buy things for real cash and not suspicious virtual currencies of any kind.

Somewhere around half price would be the point at which I decide to play the DLC. If I didn't already have them.

I already have the ME2 DLC, GOTTHEM AT 50% IIRC. I may buy ME3 DLC for 15, nothing more that's for sure.

I purchased all three games as well as all dlc on the Xbox, but now that I have the trilogy installed on PC with the texture update for ME1, and the magic physx combo to get 2 and 3 to run, I would love a discount.

I'm running a PC that is a few years old with a radeon 5830, but the bump to 1080p combined with the anisotropic filtering and anti-aliasing makes all of them look incredible versus the Xbox. Paying for all the dlc again after purchasing everything once at full price is a bit of a slap in the face. Honestly, I have played through the series so many times I would probably get my monies worth even if I did pay again, but is it really too much to ask for a 50% discount if we already own it on another platform?

50% would work for me for most of the DLCs. A couple I'd probably only buy at 75% off. I'd never buy any of the item or appearance packs.

I played the trilogy on the xbox360 and recently moved on to pc, I was pretty shocked Origin still uses bioware points when consoles do not.

I would snap up all the DLC's if they were 50% off.

If you're in the usa, vpn/proxy shenanigans can get you dlc for about half off, if you tell origin you're from the right place, thanks to regional pricing.

I really do not care what price had at that time, i bought a card 4500 points, but I remember when i bought all the dlc still had 1,400 points or so to spend.

But while expand the story and the time one can spend in this universe I do not care what price it have, I have already saved the necessary money for the next entry and to buy the console when it goes on sale.

By the way, its not much, but currently you can get From Ashes for €2.50 on Origins at the moment by getting the Digital Deluxe Upgrade (if you dont have it already). Its 50% off.

No dice on the other DLC's though...
