A while back I read someone saying one should open their chests in Perilous lobby as opposed to whatever other difficulty you're running on.

 

I decided to try it a few days ago and while I can't confirm it I got a hunch that my drops got a bit better by changing from Routine to Perilous.

 

What I can confirm though is that previously I had one Payback Strike ring and some other accessory item I had foolishly salvaged in my early days.

In just two days of Perilous chest buying I got one necklace, belt and two more rings. During that time I didn't even buy too many boxes as opposed to what I did before.

 

So, just asking if this is pure luck, or did they do something to the drop rates recently or is there indeed a difference in loot qualities?

Bought me 40k worth of gold roughly 20 hours ago and I didn`t get ANYTHING worthwhile - one lvl 22 purple something that I have gotten 3 times already and various assorted junk.

 

I am not doing anything special when buying chests, as I strongly believe it`s as useless as ****** on a fish.

Nothing has changed, it's still complete roll of the dice with 20 sides....

Here it is people,

 

No matter what you are playing be it Perilous threating or routine the weapon drops will be random and NO you do not get better weapon(s) by playing perilous and opening chest in that game.

 

I only play perilous & I have had enough playing time on this game to say this...I have had weapon drops that are level 1-6 on perilous (go figure that)

Do not get me wrong I have had a few purple weapon drops but tbh I have been over levelled for them to be any use or I have bought better from the store.

 

you have a better chance getting the weapon or item you are after, or just as much chance by going to the store and buying a bunch of chest.

 

I (we) do not bother opening the doors now, I would benefit more by speed running perilous and getting more games finished to promote and build your stats up.

 

 I am telling you my opinion through experience take it how you wish.
