I know I am on some people's ignore list after some of my more... passionate posts, shall we say. Much more so in the DA forums than here, but I'm confident I've burned bridges.

I apologize to anyone I have belittled, beligerated or been a dick to. I'm sorry I am unable to name names.

There is a toggle to block you Jimmy. It activates by word sniffer software. Anytime you go into a thread and write"Save im.." you are automatically blocked.

Burning bridges is fun when it's deserved though. Step that hate up, homie.

On a more serious note, I guess you could say I hold grudges against certain people here, but I just don't like the idea of doing anything about it, so to speak. Both slamming posters in public, or talking about them behind their back, which I've seen on occasion, are things I try to stay away from. I just ignore them and move on with my life.

I mean, I've probably had my fair share of drama and gossip so I'm no saint like Fiddles but for the most part I try to avoid it.

This forum is ultimately about having a little light fun (I hope), so I don't really like it when stuff like that goes on. Personality conflicts are unavoidable I suppose, but I just feel like you shouldn't let your own personal bitterness dictate how you interact with others, especially publicly on the forums. Something I saw a lot of on the old BSN that really annoyed me (which I hope hasn't carried over here) was people getting angry at their friends for liking people they don't like.

"Oh I'm removing you because you are friends with X and I hate X"

"How can you like X's posts, don't you know that X is [insert insult here]. You better stop it or I'll delete you."

"I like some of your posts, but you're friends with X so we can't be friends."

Like, who has time for that kind of pettiness?

I think I can drop a few grudges.

All but 2.

Well John Marston is one, but who is the other? The white man in general? "Manifest Destiny" as it were.

Telling a person, "It's me or them." is a selfish and cruel ultimatum imo

I didn't have that problem. My problem was that I'd try to see the positives in everyone, and some people here were just...yeah. Nah. Screw that.

So I'd give someone a chance, they'd blow it, and I'd be waiting for the next person to show up who's only around to get noticed or create dissent.

I wouldn't say it's cruel. In it's proper context (liking people you don't like in a social forum environment), it just comes off as really petty and insecure to me.

I will count exceptions since it's not an ironclad rule. But generally speaking, if it comes from a place of bitterness or spite, it's over the top sad.

Its part of the clique type thing that goes around here. That STILL goes around here, supposedly. I've NEVER seen it, but I've been told all about it by several people.

Apparently people band together into their own sort of high school-esque cliques and...well, I can't even touch on it since I'm not part of it and never have been. I've just been a target of the less than positive intentions of some of them apparently.

Its like I'm trying to describe a color I've never seen before;its hard because I know nothing(Jon Snow) of it.

But I think that has something to do with the, "I can't friend you because your friends with them" mentality.

I will count exceptions, like Mohsen since he was a serial harasser. But generally speaking, it's over the top sad.

Cruel to some but not all. Just depends on the perspective of the person tbh. I think it's cruel because said person is destroying a friendship they helped forge. But now they're saying that the friendship never mattered because they're willing to throw it all away over something so diminutive.
