I'm confused. What the hell is "Cis"? Is it Transgender?
I'm guessing not...

According to Tumblr because he is evil. Everyone knows us straight white males are in fact worse than the devil...that is what Tumblr says anyway.
Well... in Tumblr's defense...
I love BSN. Because the posts containing hateful speech, SJW non-sense and trolling are so silly that they are entertaining.

Zevran was a bad guy (he tries to kill you) and he was bi.
Why is it stupid?
The term itself is correct, but entirely pointless, and no uses it out side of casual authors and morons who just need to classify everything into little boxes .
Their thought process usually works like this ;
"ooo I am a cis gender my best friend is a trans gender 'giggles'. Now let me bash this game of which I saw a 3 minute trailer as misogynistic, homophobic, racist and other heavy sounding words. Also no one actually likes me, they only pretend because they are afraid that if they say anything against me, I will label them as anti(my race, gender, orientation). Also I am a pot head. And last but not the least, I love unicorns"
Yea when ever I see these posts, I always go thrugh them page by page. I skip reading anything more than a paragraph and go straight to the pictures which are always inevitably hilarious. Go for the pictures Boo!
So..... How long until this thread gets locked?
I'm not quite sure what you are criticising here. Cis? they have ONE trans character as far as I know. White? the vast majority of their characters in general are white. If we had a game set in Antiva that might change.
You didn't mention but others are. With non straights character Marjoleine is bi and the majority of them don't really mention anything related to sexuality. With companions you usually know because you get a fair amount of dialogue with them about their lives and they are often LI options but villains unless they are currently in a relationship you aren't going to know. The writers probably don't even assign them a sexuality most the time.

Two known ones in game, Maevaris is transgender as well. I believe the elf that senaschel Bran was interested was supposed to be trans as well but they didn't have the engine to portray it. They still might not, but Krem wears so much armour and is never stripped down so it's not like we can tell.

The suffix cis is useful if you are differentiating between trans and not. That's what it's for. In casual conversions when you are not discussing transgenderism it's silly to use.

Like I said, the term it self is correct, but it is never used as that, is it ...

Well yes it is. I have seen it used correctly in almost every conversation involving transgenderism. Some people like to use it when it's unnecessary but so what?

Maevaris? I looked that name up and the wiki says they're a comic character only referenced in the war table so I'm not sure that really counts as in game. Edit: oh right, the freemuim game I keep forgetting exists.
Either way, the point is there aren't a lot of trans characters so complaining about a lack of trans villains is silly. They could do one but it doesn't mean anything if they don't.
Cuz....White People.
(to sillymonkboy) The thing about Dorian refusing to have a wife and children were less about him being gay and more about him not wanting to play pretend and screaming on the inside (as he says himself) during the rest of his life. Homosexuality is somewhat tolerated in Tevinter as long as you keep it private and nothing more comes of it but it is not accepted.
Whether this was properly conveyed in Dorian's quest is something to be debated but it was confirmed that, that was what was intended to be conveyed.
What, villains are not the dark skin, dark hair and dark eyed swarthy types? ![]()
