Both job listings specify PS4/Xbone so it's not any Sony/MS/Nintendo exclusive. Also, Blueprint has history of EA collaboration.

They did Metal Gear Solid Collection, God of War Collection, ICO/Shadow of Collossus Collection and 360 version of Titanfall.

Quite possibly it's Mass Effect Trilogy remaster.

If it was ME, they would look for someone with UE3 experience.

It would be neat to see if it were true - and if it was playable on PC.

You know, cause Mustard Race.

They could also be talking about Assassins Creed or Uncharted or God of War or any other number of games that have come out on ps3/x360 over the past few years.

Sounds a little short for all 3 games including ME1 that needs quite some work done in terms of gameplay, inventory and weapons.

Can easily see the remaster being announced at E3 along with the reveal of the next title.

Sounds promising. Could very well be Assassin's Creed too, but they'd have a lot of work ahead of them to update that entire franchise for new consoles (AC, AC2, AC:B, AC:R, AC3; unless they went strictly with the Ezio Trilogy). I really doubt it's yet another God of War port, but that's not out of the question. Neither is a Gears of War trilogy pack.

If it's anything like the company's previous HD ports (which have all been pretty damn solid), little or none of that will be altered. They concentrated on updating visuals and smoothness for the same gameplay experience, so some work on texture clarity/pop and bugs would be all I'd expect.

Not to mention they may throw in all the DLC as well.

Remastering can imply updating the graphics, not changing the gameplay.

If they do a trilogy remaster on new consoles, I don't think they'll touch the gameplay much at all.

Yep though they may tweak the UI to make it easier to use.

I'd love a release of the trilogy on the new gen consoles, if nothing else just so that I can play through again (360 went down a while back.) What we will most likely get, as people have stated already is a graphical update, though to what extent is what I would be interested in finding out. Also give some other examples I would say we will get most if not all DLC, along with all three games on one disc. Finally, no more switching discs all the time. I honestly would expect them to include the small stuff too, like weapons, alternate outfits, and even Pinnacle Station. Why not? The more content the better right. Multiplayer updated for current consoles would be great, but honestly I think that would take more work than they want to put in, but it could happen.

As for people thinking that a remaster is going to mean anything in the way of new story content, that's pretty much just a pipe dream. The only game that I can think of that got new features when it was moved to a new console is GTA:V. And, I hate to say it, but ME will never be Grand Theft Auto. Not saying that game is better in any way, though you can make that argument if you wish, a game being good or bad is mostly opinion. but even then I'm pretty sure that they didn't touch the story, and that's what all the ending haters want, a new ending. Not going to happen, sorry. For a million reasons, it just won't.

Personally my best case scenario would be the above mentioned improvements, and maybe, just maybe a few tweaks and extra finishing touches on ME:1. Just my personal preference so don't judge, but I think the first game would benefit greatly from a little more variety where weapons and armor are concerned. Also the combat from the third game is just more enjoyable, for me. The enemy AI, cover mechanics, and side mission level design just didn't make combat any fun. The main story missions for the most part weren't all that bad, but I still would love it if they took a few things from the other two games and applied them to the combat system in ME:1.

But, what I really want is the next full game. A remaster would just be a way of holding me over until the next one is announced/released.

Isn't Gears a Microsoft exclusive? If so, it's unlikely the remaster would include PS4.

I found an article that strongly suggests that it's Uncharted.

I'd post it as a clickable link, but this forum won't let me paste anything into the reply box and the Link dialogue won't work.

It is, but breaking down that barrier for a PS trilogy has been rumored for several years now.

Reaching that deduction requires that they discard the multi-plat lingo of the job listing. It'd make sense, though, since the company deals in a lot of PS exclusives.

It's fairly obvious that it's not Mass Effect or Gear of War.

6 months.  E3  is in 3 months.  I guess we'll learn soon enough.  If it is the Mass Effect Trilogy, then

kinda NSFW (South Park image)

It said something about the postings indicating that the jobs were for one console rather than both, and it also mentioned something about a proprietary game engine, which Unreal isn't.

I'd like to see either series remastered.

BioWare, if you are reading this, please know that most of use support a remastered edition.

Please do not be afraid to add a little more content, too. For example: more people walking around on the Citadel, more areas to walk around on the Citadel, a music player in the Normandy SR-1, more armor and weapons for Mass Effect 2 and 3, give Sophie the synthetic dog more screen time than just walking around the Shuttle Bay. Also, add melee weapons. A staff, or maybe sai's. In Mass Effect 1, it was humorous to swing your pistol around to slam someone, but I would like a little more diversity for melee combat. Also, could you add a fifth option on the endings? If we can get 9000 plus EMS, let us roll the dice and see how it goes. There are only so many Reapers; we should all just hit them with M-920 Cains.

Those are just my ideas. I encourage you to use them all, but if you do not, it is alright. I just want a remaster edition period. Honstly, Mass Effect is one of the main reasons why I still use a 360. If I can get a remastered edition for current generation, I will gladly purchase the first three all over again and stop messing with the old 360. No offense to Microsoft.
