I think it's because we lack background on the Inquisitor. We are told they were a mercenary/a carta thug/ the Keeper's first, etc., but we never saw them interact with the people in their respective background. We did for the Warden and Hawke.

For me that's what's missing in the Inquisitor.

Carta thug has some great potential because the connection to the lyrium trade, but it wouldn't matter if they gave you an origin story anyways. You're kind of forced to play a more serious character. Not anyone who undermines the inquisiton like some smuggler would. You're the herald and inquisitor, like it or not. And I see this from many people's backstories themselves. Almost all of their dwarves are good guys who hated their upbringing for one reason or another and just try to be like Chantry humans. I have to wonder if they even care about the Carta story themselves.

Meh, I didn't fall in love with quizzy like I did with Warden and Hawke, so I'd be okay if she walked into the fade again and her anchor just shut off, or something, while she was in there. sorryz. Didn't hate her by any means, just dont feel attached to her or her fate. Other characters are fantastic, but they literally had her just fall out of the sky and be a hero? No origin story, nutthin! Bleh...

Another scenario id be okay with is if the qunari flip their lids once and for all because no one should have her kind of power, and decide they need to take her out. I think it'd be a good segue into more of their world, and why they meddle so damn much...

The Inqusition is a Southern Thedas power, we are moving to North Thedas in the next game. We will likely see mook members of the Inqusition, but the Inqusitor themselves, no.

I would not mind if we could kill them off like we did with hawke V Stroud just kill every person off that has saved the world :P

I would hate that. Why are they not allowed a normal life? Hawke's cameo was so, so bad.

Yes because killing of PC's is the best solution really come the **** on dont give me that garbage they wrote The Inquisitor to be larger than life he/she is the most powerful being in Southren Thedas hell maybe even Thedas itself.

B-Ware seriously just let the Inquisitor have proper closure and settle down with his/her LI then we move on to our new PC with no returning Inquisitor.

I would be more than happy to see the Inquisitor die/disappear forever, and the Inquisition itself shattered.

I don't mind is some of the major story beats continue forward, like Solas being a moron, the elves finding out he is responsible for their decline, and Morrigan being the most knowledgable elf lore keeper in the world, but the rest needs to go.

With the witch hunt expansion we got the option of following Morrigan into the Eluvian, maybe there will be something similar with Solas? Being able to join him somehow? Then again he probably wouldn't like that much, he's counting on her to do the work that needs doing.

I was actually thinking it might be quite cool to have the next game 200 years in the future or something. To have a new religion built on what our Inquisitor did. Or even just have the next game set in Tevinter or Antiva...

Ooooo this would be cool, the dragon age butterfly effect to see how effed up the world got as a result of the Herald and her antics. As long as my choices matter, dangnabbit! :)

So the Inquisitor will be the second Hero of Ferelden here from now on? As in people will constantly b*tch and moan about her/him and complain every single time dragon age-products not featuring the Inquisitor will be announced/released/talked about/pretty much anything you can do with Dragon age products?

Great, really. <_<

S/he can and will be relegated to the sidelines of the next game. Deal with it.

Oh rest assured that even when Dragon Age 99 will be out you'll continue to see people asking for HoF/Hawke/Inquisitor to be back.

Meanwhile there will be other people who will complain because they want back the protagonist from DA4/5/6/[insert number here]

And I swear I am not trying to be argumentative here.. just realistic. They stated many times what is the kind of narration that was set for DA, with a different hero for each game. Continue to ask/hope for the opposite will have the sole effect to increase your disappointment, because whatever may be your reasons, correct or wrong, they will never listen.

True enough unfortunately. Though it actually was less prominet with Hawke. People were more often wanting to kill her/him than wanting her/him back as PC. Hawke haters kind of got their wish in DAI and have mostly shut up about it. HoF fans and Inquisitor fans not so much, which earns them a higher ranking on the annoying-scale.

Funny, I thought I was in the minority in not really caring for Inquisition so much. I do care about my Inquisitor but not enough to play another game with her. DLC, sure, that'd be great. I think it might be the whole "dropped from the sky with no back story" thing that I didn't attach to her well. Its great we have more room for our own canon and stuff but--

Like most of the others said, I just want some type of closure that we didn't really get with Hawke and the Warden.

Future references are necessary though considering how powerful they make the Inquisition seem by the end, y'know all with what Morrigan narrates about their power growing and the Inquisitor becoming a target, blah blah blah..
