I know this has been posted previously re the error but is it still a problem for people? For me it has got worse over time and it is just so random when it happens except that it nearly always occurs on cut scenes and the war table.

 

For me once I have one DX error it almost invariably means I get another almost immediately upon reloading, even having repaired the game files. Today I played and had two DX errors almost immediately. I then played for 4 hours with none until I had an auto-save at the end of the first fade mission with the Nightmare demon just hang and then I got a DX error. Subsequent to that the game became unplayable as it kept happening every 5 minutes or so.

 

This is my 4th play through and in every play through it has gotten progressively worse, I have no idea why that would be.

 

Just want to know if it's me or still a problem for others as well.

 

And yes I have tried every suggested fix on the boards.

I'm still having them occasionally, although a lot less than I was before patching started - especially on the War Table, that only happened once in my last run.

 

Turning off ambient occlusion and post-process anti-aliasing seems to have helped the most for me, for what it's worth.

After the latest Nvidia driver release my game has been very stable, even modded and with cheat engine running in the background.

Bugger don't know what's going on for me then!!!! AO is off and so is the AA so really don't know.

I occasionally get Dx/Mantle crashes on PC when Josie completes a war table mission. This has been consistent during all patches so far - I did not notice any changes in crash frequency or occasion.
