[Unpleasant Implications]

Consider this a spin-off to my other thread, which raised curiosity with some people's answers.

How many playthroughs of DA:I have you completed out of all the one's you've created? In the incomplete ones, where do you stop and why?

I have three completed pts (elven mage, qunari rogue and a human warrior), and one ongoing (human mage)

Two completed- human mage, human rogue. One incomplete (elven mage)- I'm waiting for Black Emporium to finish it, because I need to fix his hideous face. Now I'm playing as rogue dwarf.

 

And there's a speedrun (elven mage) that I made only for Solas bi romance mod (yes, yes I'm a bad person, but I never play as female characters.)

Just one so far. I'm really picky & find things I don't like about my characters really early on then delete them after Iv gotten really far with them. Last character I made was literally right at the last mission then I deleted him.

Only one so far - male elven Necromancer.

I started another  - a female human rogue - but I stopped after Haven, because I realized I messed up the world state in the Keep and kept the default Hawke. I wanted to press through, but my world immersion was completely destroyed at this point and I gave up.

 

I'm starting a female qunari warrior soon.

Four so far: two female Lavellans, one female Cadash, one female Adaar. Currently working through a male Trevelyan PT.

 

I'm completing all the sidequests, but not the collectibles. I attempted to on my first PT, but got fed up with that and moved on. Forunately, I'm not a completionist (when the story isn't involved), so I'm not too bothered about it.

Three at this point, as complete as I could get them. Female Trevelyan Rogue, Female Lavellan Mage, and Female Adaar Mage. Part of me wants to start another just to mess about with the warrior class, but ehhh, I think I'll save future playthroughs for DLC content at this point. XD Or at the very least, the Black Emporium.

 

I have a feeling I'll only wind up with three I care about enough to carry over, though, and it'll probably be those above three since I'm already attached to them. Three Hawkes, three Inquisitors, nice and simple. :B

Three completed ones. All with a DW Rogue as the player char. First on normal, then on hard, then on Nightmare. I'm close to the end on my fourth play through on nightmare, also with a DW Rogue, but I lost the momentum when I noticed that almost all amulet of powers are missing since the last patch. Collecting those for inky was a rather important side quest in my games.

I have several play throughs at various points in the game. Anywhere from 1 hour in to 40+. I've only completed the game twice... on mages. One human, one elf. One for Cullen, the other for Solas. I don't like how melee works in this game... I'm either terrible at it, or it's wonky. My husband plays his warrior and DW rogue just fine, so I think I'm just terrible at it. I do have an archer that I was enjoying, but I got burnt out. I'll probably finish him when I get the urge to play again. Definitely after DLC content, and I'll probably just reroll him entirely.

I've finished three play throughs, and have three unfinished. Of the three unfinished, one is a fem Qunari. Played for about 12 hours, didn't really like her so stopped. Made a fem human and I'm slowly making my way through the game with her. I'm about 50 hours in and trying to find time to finish with my now busy work schedule. I have a fem elf on the sidelines waiting until I finish my fem human.

Three so far, a Human, Elven and Qunari mage. The Qunari I rushed through a bit near the end though so I didn't do everything I wanted.

One complete (no romance). Six main-content-only others to see romance content, side with different factions, try different specs, see how different things go down. Still intend another two for the ones I've missed.

That way when DLC comes out, I can see if dialogue changes for romances/story choices.

 

I am a content whoar.

If it weren't for that, I don't think I'd ever see Gaspard rule, or turn away Cole/Wall/Bull. I have yet to muster the power to see what Dorian says if you tell him to stow it - even though I've a playthrough where I meet him and then run away to recruit templars anyway (I even romanced him in that one).

Three complete. Once I start, I have to finish. (Unless my character is funny-looking; then I sometimes stop right away and go back to the character creator. Hasn't happened with DAI, though.) Female dwarf rogue, male qunari mage, female human warrior.

 

Planning five more Inquisitors since I've got five more world states. Next up is probably female elf mage, but that won't be for a couple of months. (I'm trying to spread my play throughs out better than I did with DAO and DA2, since we probably have more than two years between us and the next DA game.)

Only one so far, Plan to do another playthrough when the next patch comes out. Needs to be rid of that disappearing war table missions bug since I really want to go through Ser Barris's missions and promote him.

I have completed 3 rogue's and started a mage about half way thru

I've 37 characters in the Keep. 37 because there was dissatisfaction with the final CC product and I delete and redo it. I think it came up to maybe 15 - 20 attempts. Yes, that means I sat through the prologue that many times until I got sick of it.

 

I've 7 PTs with a 8th halted until further patches and DLCs appear. The rest of the characters exist because the game glitched at the beginning. After character creation, the prologue cutscene failed to load, the char was stuck in the Fade with no where to go so I was forced to repair, relaunch and remake with no idea that the char was already recorded in the Keep; it was not accessible in the game, no save available.

I have one completed playthrough at this point (female human mage). I have two more playthroughs in the making so I hope that I'll finish them.

- I've completed my first playthrough with female mage Lavellan(Solas, naturally), 

- a shorter playthrough with a human female mage(Cullen, and I admit, after all the wonderful fanfiction I was a tad disappointed),

- the obligatory completionist playthrough with a female mage Lavellan,

- yet another female mage Lavellan for the Nightmare achievement.

 

I usually don't abandon playthroughs, so that's pretty much it. I prefer mages, don't enjoy playing Qunari or dwarves, and I'm not interested in playing a male, because there are no romances for me: my beloved Cassandra enjoys bad poetry(gods, no), and Dorian is an alcoholic who leaves for Tevinter eventually. Great characters, lousy lovers. I prefer my "Romanced god, got T-shirt" T-shirt.

3, one for each main class. Don't intend on starting again any time soon. Else I'll wear myself out long before DA4 arrives.

1 and a half(mage, then warrior [much better]). I started the second mainly to romance Blackwall, and also secondary to try to get Leliana as Divine. However, now that I finished romancing Blackwall, e.g. I judged him at Skyhold and kept him with me, I no longer have an incentive to keep playing through to the Arbor Wilds and final battle. I want to, but it's been nearly 2 months since I touched the game. Eventually I'll finish though, one of these days, maybe.
