I've completed three, and have two that I would consider "in progress".
I have a couple of other characters that are still stuck in Haven. ![]()

Only one. Same as DA2, but for different reasons.
Origins I played multiple times all the way through. Fantastic game and I loved going through it again, just wish I could've done it with the same character.
DA2 I didn't enjoy so I finished it once, tried to play it again, and couldn't finish the third act before I gave up in that second run.
Inquisition I've completed once and haven't bothered to play again because I did a completionist run and clocked in my playthrough at 172 hours. Enjoyed it, but I don't want to go through that much of the same content twice and I know I would.
Five completed - one not (inquisitor was ugly and (accidentally) had the wrong voice)
I have this image now in my head, that there is a whole region in the Fade populated by could-have-been Inquisitors, all discarded and left in there, all weird looking, or with some awkward physical detail.
I've completed 3 and I've only got the final battle left on my 4th one.
1. Female Trevelyan warrior, romanced Cullen
2. Female Lavellan mage, romanced Solas
3. Male Adaar rogue, romanced Josephine
4. Female Adaar mage, romanced Blackwall
I really enjoyed all of them for different reasons, but I'll probably take a break from the game after I wrap up my mage Adaar.
Only one, and I deleted that character.
It was a classic case of having been forced to drop the game for a while and becoming too unfamiliar with everything that's happened - another desease I have the TES-approach to thank for. I needed a damn secretary in these games, not three "advisors"!
My current one technically hasn't finished the last mission, but only because everyone stops talking to me if I did.
Bit of advice nobody asked for:
Play the story missions as back to back as possible. You will involuntarily bond with your companions properly, they always have tons of things to say & the story is actually quite exciting when you take the responsibility to properly pace the game & narrative flow on your own. Afterwards, you're not doing the exploring with random skill despensers, too.

You know what I'd like to see? Screen shots of some of these discarded inquisitors. I'm willing to bet actual money* that >95% of them either are perfectly fine or would be with only tiny edits. This doesn't say anything bad about people who deleted an inquisitor because the face didn't turn out quite right. Hey, if you're going to be looking at a character for 60+ hours, you might as well like what you're looking at! But it does underline the need for the Black Emporium.
*0.05$US or less.
Dragon age origins- completed it about 30-40 times
Dragon age 2- completed it about 15-20 times
Dragon age inquisition- I have only completed it once (took me 35 hours) and I have no ambition the make any more playthroughs. Disappointing.
DAO: Played every origins a few times. At least 25 playthroughs. I'd still play it again. I do still play it sometimes. I played using every combination and my favorite was Human Noble, Dual-Longsword Wielding Warrior, Morrigan Romance.
DA2: Once, and that was boring enough for me not to do that again.
DAI: Two, though I didn't really spend a lot time to discover every useless place or do every side quest in any playthrough.
Two completed, one that is the final quest short and several more somewhere between prologue - Wicked Eyes Wicked Hearts.
Only once. I might play again with DLC, but I will wait for the (player) reviews this time.

I didn't keep a screenshot of my very first stab, but here are some of the others I've dumped into the abyss. Not necessarily for being "ugly", but mostly because I just wasn't feeling it, you know?
Five complete playthroughs and part way through my sixth, I will play a few more times as different characters while waiting for dlc to arrive. ![]()
Five completed. On my 6th. This is the nightmare run. So I'm playing it much more tactically than the other five. But I'm also trying to do it quick and dirty. Not sure how well THAT is going since I'm still in Haven when you are all squishy and die a lot.
Beat it once.
I've completed it twice. Once as a dwarven rogue and once as a human mage. I also have two ongoing playthroughs which are both before reaching Skyhold.
One, it is a long game to complete. I have too many character ideas I want to use for the Inquisitor.
One and done. I started a second, played up through the mage/templar decision and then realized nothing much was really going to change during the second playthrough so I abandoned it. Frankly, I think I'm finished with the game. Play choices don't have enough impact to keep me interested enough to hear a different last credits scene.

Spoiler
Yeah, I know *precisely* what you mean when you say that you stopped playing them because you just weren't feeling it. A few of my "abandoned" characters got that way because I wasn't invested in them. And I'm not sure I can explain it any better than that. I bailed on the second DW Cadash not because I don't like dwarves or because I dislike the Blackwall romance. Both are probably my favorites. But something about her face in combination with the personality I had decided for her wasn't gelling with me. I'll probably do the Blackwall romance again with a dwarf, but I'll probably just delete the previous one and start over with a different PC.
