I have 4 complete playthroughs:
Human Mage - romanced Cullen
Human Rogue - romanced Blackwall
Elf Mage - romanced Solas
Qunari Warrior - romanced Iron Bull
and i`m currently playing my 5th:
Dwarf Rogue - romancing Blackwall.
I don`t have any other unfinished playthroughs. I struggle a lot with the CC so i`ve restarted the prologue a lot
but once i`m ok with the result i always play until i finish the game with that character.

5 playthroughs ... they were all FUN. Love this game and Bioware! They (Bio) make stuff NOBODY else does and deliver characters that cannot be F***ED with. Nothing but LOVE for Bioware SINCE EVER SINCE.

The fact that you sum up your playthroughs with who your character romanced is exactly why I have only played twice, the game doesn't offer much entertainment beyond character interaction and a few choices. The open world was okay for one playthrough, bearable for a second, but I just couldn't do it again for a third.

It's only been a few months and the game is worth over 80 hours. I started playing in december and only now am I finishing the first one.
I'm guessing a lot of people beat the game at lvl 15 or so.

One male elf rift mage.
I have three others, but the main story is just. so. short. I can't bring myself to care about the overwhelming amount of filler.

6 completed PTs
1) Human female mage: KE, romanced Cullen, ally with mages, Strout & wardens not exiled, Celene rules alone, Morrigan drinks from the well, Steeled Leliana as divine
2) Human female mage: basically replayed the 1st one but I found out how to soften Leliana and force Celene, Gaspard and Briala make a truce.
3) Human female rogue: assassin, romanced Blackwall, ally with templars, Alistair & wardens not exiled, Gaspard rules alone, Morrigan drinks from the well, Cass as divine
4) Human male warrior: nightmare PT, templar, romanced Josephine, ally with with templars, Alistair (romanced) & wardens not exiled, Gaspard rules alone, Morrigan drinks from the well, Cass as divine
5) Elf female rogue: assassin, romanced Solas, disband templars, Loghain & wardens exiled, Briala rules, IQ drinks from the well, Leliana whose personal quest never completed as divine
6) Human male mage: necro, romanced cass, conscript mages, Alistair (romanced and US warden) & wardens not exiled, Celene rules alone, Morrigan drinks from the well, Viv as divine. I managed to punch Solas, make Blackwall said he hated me and Sera called me out. lol Interesting PT
In progress
1) Human female mage: completionist PT. KE, romanced Cullen, ally with mages, Strout & wardens not exiled, Celene and Briala reconciled. Refuse to complete it with the bugged mosaic piece in Hinterland.
2) Human female rogue: going to be artificier. Recruit no one to see what will happen during the Wicked Grace scene. ally with templars, going to romance Cullen without finishing his Perseverance quest.
I am somehow much more invested in DAI than DAO and DA2. I have only completed 4 DAO PTs and 2 DA2 PTs and I didn't buy all the DLCs for those 2 games.

To people who've done three or more: How?
It's only been a few months and the game is worth over 80 hours. I started playing in december and only now am I finishing the first one.
I'm guessing a lot of people beat the game at lvl 15 or so.
You're assuming that everyone has things to do that don't involve being parked in front of Dragon Age for six to eight hours a day.
I've played three times for a total of 260 hours, and this is not on the upper end of hours played according to the thread about that in this same forum. (I took a month off playing after my first run, and two months after my second. Trying to spread things out a bit more than I did last time, since we probably have two years to wait until the next one.)
My last run was deliberately efficient, which means it only took me sixty hours. I still got to level twenty, though.

You know what I'd like to see? Screen shots of some of these discarded inquisitors. I'm willing to bet actual money* that >95% of them either are perfectly fine or would be with only tiny edits. This doesn't say anything bad about people who deleted an inquisitor because the face didn't turn out quite right. Hey, if you're going to be looking at a character for 60+ hours, you might as well like what you're looking at! But it does underline the need for the Black Emporium.
*0.05$US or less.
Yes, every single one of them.
Except the female Qunari. They'd have to remove the vitaars from cutscenes to make that one work. Or any Qunari for that matter.

I have completed two playthroughs. However, I have no desire to undertake another playthough, due to the amount of filler present in DAI.

Two, but the second pt was more or less a torture, because of the boring sidequests and areas. There will not be a third one. I will play the DLCs, if they are interesting, but that's all.

I've done 2 full so far. I also have a nightmare one about 3/4 done though i got side tracked by other games and R.L.. I also have a rogue started at about level 7 or so. I'm sure i will get around to finishing both sooner or later.

1 - canon mage KE, normal, beat the game 100%
2 - human warrior, nightmare, about 60%, got bored and rolled a rogue
3 - human rogue, nightmare, about 40%, got bored and restarted my canon elf mage at NM
4 - canon mage KE, nightmare, 20% , got bored because i was making the same choices as my first PT, rerolled an 'evil' char
5 - elf warrior (evil), nightmare, about 20% , and this is what im playing right now. With a new world state and everything.
I applaud those of you who could complete a PT to the end besides your first. I keep running out of steam after the Wicked Hearts quest. But at least all the alts are created perfectly (after numerous restarts) and I can continue them any time. I restart at least 5 times thanks to the CC and bioware's one shot policy at character creation.

1 - Qunari Female who romanced Josephine. (Mage, KE). Normal difficulty.
2 - Human Male who romanced Cassandra. (Mage, KE again, but on nightmare. (I know, I know, but I didn't know how to play back then).
3 - Elven Female who romanced Solas. (Archer, Assassin). Nightmare. Now I know how to play.
I'm trying to work up the motivation for a dwarf warrior run but it's my least favourite race and least favourite class so i'm struggling. Might leave that one until all the DLC is out.

1 finished.
i'll probably only play once or twice again. doesnt seem like the choices make any difference. \
got the templars to close the rift in one game.
the next i got the mages.
the only thing that changed was the character model. even used the same animation.

So far? Only one. Same month I bought the game (January). I stop and start the other ones because I'm simply having fun, testing, exploring and trying out different options. 2 months in and I'm still discovering new stuff! I probably won't beat it again for awhile.
I beat it with a female mage who romanced Cullen, sided with the mages, let Morrigan drink from the Well and defeated Corpyheus with my go-to party of Blackwall, Iron Bull and Cole.

4, two on normal, one on hard, one on nightmare. I played archer, sword and shield warrior and mage. Romanced Solas twice, Cullen and Cass.
Was planning my canon, completionist Solavellan mage playthrough next, but got sidetracked by another game (Assassin's Creed gave me a ship again!) Will play it when the DLC is announced to get my canon ready for that.

I have four completed playthroughs (dwarven warrior, elven rogue, human mage, qunari warrior). I only chose to create an entirely different character as the human female I created was just... too plain. Nothing to remember, really. I like to actually remember my characters by their defining looks.

2.. both female mages, elf and human. playing a human rogue now.

2. Qunari female rouge romancing Iron Bull (did not like it too much)
3. Human Male knight enchanter, romancing Dorian( loved it!)
4. Elf female mage, abandoned her because she came out so ugily I could not stand it:)
5. Human female rouge, romacing Balckwall, bleh never again!
6. Elf rouge female romancing Solas ( idk why everybody is so enthusiastic with this romance, I love him as character but the romance is like non existent?
See a pattern of rouge, specifically archer, I love it, cannot stand melee in DAI, tired, did not liked it.
I am planning on a new character repeating Cullen romance, not decided yet. Also waiting eeeeeagerly for the DLC before GtaV and later, TW3 is coming out otherwise it wont get enough attention from me, which would be a shame:)

Four:
1) Dalish Elf Rogue who loved her clan, believed is their history and their gods, tried to change impressions of her people.
2) Non believing human Warrior
3) Dalish Elf Rogue who was loner, didn't want to go back to her clan, didn;t care much for the history, agreed with Solas views of her people
4) Human warrior, complete Joan of Arc, the Maker is guiding my hand, Andraste saved me for a holy purpose
Enjoyed all four. Waiting for some DLC before I do another. Still need to do at least one dwarf and one Qunari.
