I have some "Different" set-ups...I think...

 

James Bond:  Salarian Infil. w Suppressor ext mag/heavy barrel    Drill or Ap rounds....Just feels so right

TGI w Eagle...is just plain hilarious..still ridiculously high scoring...Vanilla Female Infil w Scorpion  Incid ammo..Cloak walk up to mook, drop mines off on their feet....Paladin/Carnifex...on Vanilla Asari Adept w ext mag/ cranial trauma barrel...20 head shots by wave 3

Executioner on either Paladin or Female Quarian Eng.   ....I dont use the Arc pistol...ever ( Come at me BSN)..just too stressful on my right forearm always charging that thing...Predator..(Dont make me laugh)  <----If they would have to had an all pistol damage buffing character made for that  ( like EDI's shotgun/TGIs assault rifle TC buffs) then maybe...Talon....you can put that on anything ..GI/Huntress for me...Acolyte is reserved only for the Slayer and Vanilla Female Adept..(Incid ammo)...Phalanx...people dont like it..I do...Female Quarian Eng... w flamethrower turret, Incinerate, Incid Ammo  (specd out of cryo  blast...I know BSN before the hate begins)   just burn everything with that setup....

I shouldn't of liked any posts. Now a lot of people with still great ideas are going to be left out, lol.

 

I put an acolyte on every single character. It's been time since I've used any other pistols.

OP you should use acolyte moar too.

 

I barely touch the pink gun outside of weapon challenges. Guess I should finally try the priming ammo to powers tactic and see how it goes...

 

GI or GE,with Talon/AP4 ammo.Weapon mods are pretty flexable.

 

Something seems wrong with the Talon on Geth. When I scope in, it feel like my aiming reticle moves extra slow like I have a scope on it.

 

The Talon if fine is your mostly happy with close quarter combat, but otherwise I prefer more of an all range weapon. That or slap the Talon on any Turian with max weapon/stabilit/heashot passives, barrage gear, stability mod for max stability help and a scope for head popping fun. But since I barely host...

pistols have the biggest variety of all, how oculd u be bored with them ?

I just tried the Pink gun with incindiary on a AA. And... uhm, yeah. I don't know what do say about this... at least I got another weapon challenge done with it. But I'd rather toss an ADAS on her if I want fire explosions, as having to wait for my pink gun to charge another shot can be annoying...

 

The only kit I can see this weapon fine enough on is for the pull>reave combo on shielded enemies.

 

 

 

Going to try next the GI + Eagle = Harrier combo.

Talon on the BatSol is amazing (wrecks platinum). Not to bad on the Krogan Sentinel either.

 

Paladin/Carnifax on Huntress and Asari adept now and then.

I usually put the Eagle on CQC kits like the Drellguard and BatSol because their primary weapons (Wraith and Falcon, respectively) leave something to be desired at long range, and are best augmented by an accurate, long-distance sidearm.

 

I play on-host a lot, and not always with kits that can take down Phantoms easily. So I run the Scorpion on some long-range characters.

 

Paladin goes with some biotic characters.

 

Talon on a few others.

 

For the most part, I don't like using the Acolyte, because it feels very cheap, and because I find it oppressively annoying clicking and holding the left mouse button for long periods at a time.

I knew I should of took more stability for this build. If I can't aim for headshot like the Harrier, it ain't the Harrier.

I never had problems with it but I just remembered you're not on pc. Probably easier to keep it aimed on pc.

I'm so not enjoying the Arc Pistol on the QME. I feel feel like I just want to play with only Incinerate & Arc Nades. ... Right now I'm in harmonica07's backpack... oh, I'm alive again...

 

I never had problems with it but I just remembered you're not on pc. Probably easier to keep it aimed on pc.

All these posts for talons, arc pistols, acolytes, ugh..... my vote would be for you to go old school. Grab an M-3 (predator) and challenge yourself to be strong through a whole match with it. Any fool can use one of those fancy, ludicrously OP pistols. Try using old faithful for a change.

It gets the same bonus against traitorous pinnochio-esque robots. Too bad it seems to have a -5000% accuracy penalty against Rule of Cool space ninjas.

Human Infiltrator with proximity sticky grenades and an executioner pistol is a fun combo if you want something a bit different. Power amp+ HVB and either disruptor or AP rounds (will make power blocking bubble units easier). I've found the grenades a bit buggy, but fun to troll enemies with. The executioner hits like a truck with tac cloak and cryo blast is quite good at hiding its reload. 

 

It may not be the most practical strategy, but staggering a banshee out of her charge by laying out a mine field of stickies is good fun! 

 

The executioner (AP) will take out a good chunk of her armor if you shoot her while bubbled, but disruptor is a bit better for mooks. Shoot>cryo blast will disable about any shielded unit, and that can be followed with a sticky for some tech combo fun.

 

Build for anyone interested.

Turian soldier with any pistol is always reliable, and outright hilarious with a scorpion.

Acolyte almost on every character - unless I carry venom or Reegar or Adas, sth what neutralizes annoying on-host-phantoms.

Talon on some tech/biotic characters.

Scorpion was 2 years ago.
Paladin is not worth it since we have the talon.

Kroguard, smashguard, smashdept. The first 3 that come to my mind.
