Kroguard, smashguard, smashdept. The first 3 that come to my mind.

 

Er, I don't know about Krogaurd , but the smashbros definitely come to mind when I think of Pistols. So you've sure nailed that.

But, but the Paladin is like the epitome of a Pistol. Isn't to say nay to the Paladin the same as to say nay to the entire Pistol class?

Oh well that is my opinion.
Talon has more bullets, more damage, the only lack is long distance accuracy. Well get into cover with talon aim down sight & u get ur accuracy.

Paladin is not my weapon anymore not even a bit. It is a shame what happened to the carnifex but that happened to a lot of weapons which were good in me2. ...
The last carnifex nerf was totally pointless but yeah it happened.

I really love the talon+acolyte tho since they give me great weapon power + good cool down.

I don't think that the pistols are the weakest weapon class btw. Smgs have the hurricane n csmg but there is no variety at all. N the hornet is my fav gun in the story.
As usual it is always a matter of play style and taste.

My kroguard exclusively uses scoprion. I use pistol because it's the only weapon with access to melee and power boosting mods. 

 

Charge > detonate barrier > melee. That's what I do with the kroguard. I do a very similar thing with krodept too, in which case I take pistol.

Arc Pistol, Acolyte, Scorpion, Talon, and arguably the Eagle work on most kits.  For the remaining guns in Pistol Mastery I tend to stick them on the Asari Adept for Stasis headshots.

Well yeah but sometimes you want the pistol to do at least a small portion of the killing. Flamer destroys everything.

I disagree. I can't shove a cooldown right in the flashlight of a scummy geth prime and violently decapitate it with BOOOOOMMM.

Yep, that's what I meant too. Caineghis now knows that any other ammo is better, but the pugs are doomed to repeat otherwise. Why it's funny to me every time I see it, as it proves that video source. In turn meaning that pug is really hurting for some cheese to survive.

What about liking that no real ammo powers are wasted and hurt in the process? That's the true worth of Cryo Ammo to me.

I once vowed that if I ever got up to 255 Cryo Ammos I would quit playing the game.

 

So I try to use them now and then to make sure that doesn't happen.
