I can agree with all those groups. Except Miranda. My god do I hate her character with a PASSION.

oh Keelah, the Waifu Wars are more horrifying than the all of the worst atrocities of the Rachni, Krogan, Morning and Reaper wars combined. The singleplayer section still wages it in pretty much every thread regardless of content. (in fact, there is a thinly veiled 20+ page Ash-Bash thread right on page 1 last I checked).

Ash is kind of a ****** as well. Miranda is super hot but causes me physical pain when she speaks, for a genetically perfect human female you would think she could turn down the whiny ****** vibe.

 

Liara and Tali are probably the most genuine female character other than Chakwas who's an old drunk. I always end up with Liara because I can't see a relationship with Tali because of the risks involved for her.

No, this thread needs moar pages and a good Waifu war will probably push us to page 20 at least. Please, make your argument.

Liara canon? Lol, Liara's fangirlism over both bro and femshep doesn't count as "canon". I only date her in the first game because her getting mad at Garbus, Kaidan and Tali in ME3 is funneh. (yes I'm a terrible person W/e lady you insisted on banging while I was clearly making tons of visits to the engineering section/ forward battery/ looking across the room).

If you are having trouble with the RNG then you should sacrifice her for better URs! That would mean she's a goat

I bought her some clothes/armor for like a dollar. Totally worth it, until you play ME3 and the same shite starts happening again, so you have to avoid her conversations and then she dies for no logical reason.

My single biggest problem with Liara is that she matures way too rapidly, changes her personality and accomplishes too much in such a short span of time. Which given the lore, an Asari should be the last person this happens to. Her writing was nothing short of atrocious.  A naïve, bookish scientist who's the equivalent of a university grad student is suddenly a ruthless and efficient leader of the biggest spy ring in the galaxy? Yeah. No.

Yeah, Liara has a huge disconnect from ME1 to the later games. I used to bring her along just for hilarious lambasting when I did things like "accidentally" hitting data module thieving pyjaks with the Mako, and so Tali would go darker and advocate things like bug genocide, murdering colonists, sacrificing the council, and putting a double tap in Saren's head for my Renegade Sheps.

Then in ME2 she's flaying people alive. Wat?

That said, she's still one of my favourite not-quarian characters across the series, but I don't like the direction her writing went. Should have stayed the relatively grounded prothean Scientist, but I guess everybody had to get some unrealistic promotion to a position of galaxy-wide importance to justify Shep being the infalliable god of everything.

To completely shift personality and be fully competent at a completely different job with almost no training in the span of three years, though?
