In game explanation says Geth rose up and killed them, Quarians had in-fighting, and Geth chose not to pursue fleeing Quarians. It's not debatable. Unless explicitly retconned, all lore in Mass Effect is final. The explanation is somewhere earlier in the bowels of this leviathan of a thread. If you want to wait I'll build a synthetic slave to look for it, because I can't be bothered.

I found colossus armour for Tali in ME 1 like halfway through the game, where she proceeded to have better armour than my soldier till right before doing Illos. I was kinda mad but kinda not at the same time.

Your interpretation commits lies of omission to support a flawed premise that could be applied equally to any war where one side didn't win every battle. That's like saying the French aren't cheese eating surrender monkeys because Napoleon won some battles once like a billion years ago and some of them don't like cheese; Incorrect.
Quarians are better. Deal with it.

Tali was a goddamn tank with that armor and a good shotgun. It was glorious. I got mad when they nerfed her for ME2.
For soldiers, I always picked armors based on aesthetics anyway, because having literally unlimited Immunity spam along with health regen was hilariously OP, and it didn't matter at all if you equipped the statistically crappiest armor and guns possible because you were unkillable.

I agree with that last sentence.
But otherwise no, Mass Effect lore is supposed to be factual. If it doesn't get retconned, it's trufax. The codex and such are pretty explicit about the Morning War.

Bump for relevance. Got another one
Salarians are pretty cool, but will always be 2nd in intellect, science and technology to the Master Race. Their best innovations result from thievery from us and humans. Excellent PR department though. I mean for us all it took to get kicked off the Citadel was making some robots, who then proceeded to shoot at pretty much only us for about a year then do nothing for the next 300 years. Salarians were responsible for the Rachni Wars AND the Krogan Rebellion, massively destructive galaxy wide conflicts lasting multiple generations that resulted in everybody nearly getting killed by bugs and battletoads.
Hell, I won't be surprised if the next Mass Effect is about stopping the Yahg that they were trying to uplift in a plan that totally wasn't retarded. They'll probably still keep their Council seat at the end of the trilogy.

A true Canadian hero. That guy did more to stop drug use than any politician in history. He waged a one man war against cocaine by trying to consume all of it.

Please, he couldn't even defeat Liara.
I don't know if it's what you're implying with the bolded part but Yahg Master Race is not the plot of ME:Next. This thread has already figured that one out.
fools. We're so good we've engineered a way to pleasure ourselves in these suits. Itch relief is a trivial problem by comparsion.
Cool story bro, how long before you're evicted from your suit? I just want to pencil in on the calendar when we'll be saving the universe from sentient Quarian sex toys.
****. Spoilers!
The next Mass Effect is now having its plot hurriedly rewritten.

Your perspective is a blind as your immune system is weak.
It took Space Jesus and the plot-armor immune writers pet to kill just one yahg. The enslavement and destruction of everything you know and love is the only certainty.
Yahg Master Race is not the plot of ME4 because if it was, you couldn't win.
We are all of your strengths, none of your weaknesses, un-ruined by "art". This galaxy, and everything in it, is ours.

They were in the middle of a Cerberus invasion. Had other things to think about.
It's like if you were hunting a deer and got ambushed by a tiger - it wouldn't mean tigers would win against humanity in a war. And just because one tiger happened to have artillery cannons strapped to its back and bulletproof armour, doesn't mean all tigers would. ![]()

The minute a tiger can Palpatine events across galactic civilization, I'll accept that comparison.
Even the Reapers want nothing to do with Parnack.

Because the Yahg are a pre-spaceflight civilisation and, as such, are too primitive to capture the Reaper's attention. It says nothing about the Yahg themselves, other than the fact they don't have the technology to travel through space. Which means that every other race in the galaxy would win in a war against them, thanks to mass effect technology and starships themselves, if nothing else.

That's just the story they tell children so they won't be too scared to keep living.
Being Reapified is an improvement to being enslaved or killed by yahg.

How much manpower do the Yahg have, anyway? We know they're supposed to be an advanced apex race, but if the population of Parnack is 500 million people, I'm not too intimidated.
