At least he attempted to have peace with the Geth - which was the best thing for the Quarian species themselves. Going to war with the Geth, whilst being somewhat correct due to the fact they were working with the Reapers, would have ensured the loss of many valuable Quarian lives. His motivations are irrelevant - I just think he made the best decisions FOR the Quarian people out of the other admirals.

 

Xen cannot be the best Quarian admiral, based on the fact that she is going for a rather scientific approach towards them. And, as Tali's father found out - scientific approaches with the Geth tend to result in the loss of lives and ships. Xen also wanted to salvage the Geth Dreadnought, whereas doing search and rescue - again, for valuable Quarian lives - was clearly the smarter option.

 

Gerrel, meanwhile, is just an idiot.

Making peace with evil machines is dumb. Don't be fooled by their propaganda, they just want to stick all the meatbags on spikes. Look at what they did to the Quib Quib. 

Xen's science developed the weapon that enabled quarian victory. Salvaging the Dreadnought gets you a large war asset, whereas Tali's search and rescue gets you literally nothing. 

Gerrel is a boss. Rekt that dreadnought and that Reaper like a pro. That's a man who understands what it is to be a good quarian.

Even so, given that Quarians are my favourite race - I'd prefer to save their lives, rather than salvaging the dreadnought.

 

A good Quarian? No. Quarians are not mindless brutes like Krogan. Or Gerrel, for that matter. They are smarter than that. Winning battles does not make you a good leader - it is to know when to go to battle. Yes, the Quarians could have won the war against the Geth - but at what cost?

Can't comment except to say that you're obviously wrong. Haven't played Old-ass Scrolls or whatever games because they lack quarians, so you'll have to make a mod that turns everybody into quarians if you want a more in depth response/ shitpost explaining why you're wrong.

I opened it scroll'd down, that entire thread is basically only Liara porn...I looked back a few pages and there are full frontals..everything showing....Bioware.. why come a Liara porn site is ok yet alot of us here get banned/timed out for expressing opinions or for just having differences with each other?

 The irony is that the Dunmer and Quarians hold quite a few similarities:

 

-People hate them because they dabble in the things almost everyone else says NOT to do (slavery and Daedra worship instead of building AIs)

-Apex of civilization hinges on technology that threatens them (the Dunmer had the Heart of Lorkhan, Keening, Sunder and Wraithguard instead of the Geth)

-Worship their ancestors

-Homeland is extremely warm and arid in many places

-Many kicked out of their homeland (due to natural disasters followed by foreign invasions)

-Racial slurs thrown at them ("greyskins" instead of "suit rats")

-Distrust other races

-Distrusted by other races

-Distrust each other

 

They'd probably get along splendidly if not for the fact that the last technologically advanced race to live alongside the Dunmer vanished into thin air.

Which Tali and Miranda threads? There's a members-only Tali thread in the darkest recesses of the board. If Rule 34 Liara is allowed in a public thread, it's probably not an encouraging sign as to what goes on there.

That thread consists of two likely possibilities, an attempt to escape trolling in the public thread by Talimancers, or a peek into the depths of depravity that the human soul is capable of.

I was under the impression that the Dwemer went too far and their ritual wiped out the entire race instantly. Or perhaps shifted all of them into another dimension. Not that I'm sorry to see them vanish, they were pretty cruel to the Snow Elves, who were turned into the Falmer because of that treatment.

I didn't know the Dunmer were involved at all.

Dunmer and Dwemer lived along each other, before the war that ended up with only the Dunmer being left.

What translator? We see every other lip's race move in one language, along with untranslated slang and idioms. They're speaking one language in Mass Effect. Some kind of trade language. They can say what they want in the codex, but they never proved it in any way.
