1) I saved him anyway, If you're interested. Did Tali's glorious quarian mission right after Derelict Reaper huskspam and immediately did Legion's to rekt Heretic geth, then told the bosh'tet robot to fuk off and stahp stealing quarian secrets. Scotsman will still be there to act sexist in ME3 (Gabby's my homegrill and Chackwas gives me booze). Jacob's probably dying now tho (shitnoonecaresabout.jpeg).

2) Garbusmance is pretty Good (emphasis on capital G to reference another poster) tho (Tali and Shalei told me Clawhammer is amazing so I had to try it). Besides, Tali alludes to a threesome with us at Citadel party in amazing quarian drunkspeak, so not all is lost.

3) Legion+ Tali enables employment of dronespam protocol and hax, which is equally lulzy against toaster enemies. Plus, I can respect its use of glorious quarianrifle M-98 Widow and willingness to subject itself to my, Xen, Gerrel and Tali's constant renegade-swag anti-robot abuse.

 

1. The problem with that, is that if you do missions in a RP-plausible, lore-friendly order, Tali tells you about her trial well before Legion can be recruited. When I get a loyalty mission (or a companion quest in Dragon Age) I do it as soon as I can. Because most of them are urgent or implied to be urgent, and who fights at their best when they've got an exile (or a backstabber, or a son-turned-assassin, or a kidnapped sister, or a soul-eating daughter, etc. etc.) to deal with?

 

2. I've never actually played as FemShep, but I've seen videos from Citadel (like the dance scene) which are hilarious. If I ever play as FemShep, I think romancing Garrus is oblig, in much the same way that it's oblig to romance Alistair in DAO if you're playing a female Warden.

 

3. But Legion's not as cool as Garrus. Why abuse the sheepish flashlight-head when I can bring the wisecracking sniper whose helmet looks like a blue banana?

Why couldn't the others develop AI smart enough to chase them off their planets?

 

However, the reason why the Morning War started was solely because the Quarians panicked at the awakening of Geth and decided to suppress them with force. If your race is indeed superior to others in many ways, how would you explain that you have never considered the possibility of coexisting with your creation - whom has never shown signs of aggression until you started slaughtering them?

A common assumption would be that Quarians were conforming to the Council, who outlawed quantum AIs. Why, then, is it that the Quarian master race is so much influenced by other races (i.e. the Council), to the point where they lost their home planet just to avoid displeasing the Council, consisting of lower races, as you claim?

 

Please note that these ideas are strictly context-related, and my personal feeling toward the Quarian race (which is neutral) has no role in my previous statements. One should thus not not see them as an attack toward the Quarian race, but strictly questions about which I am curious.
