I'm making a Trevelyan mage and thought I'd ask for some input in this forum. It's a minor thing but for some reason I can't decide and I know its going to annoy me later and I'll end up restarting if I don't get it right!
So... scar or no scar?
I would go with the scar
Go with the scar. She looks great, by the by, but the scar adds a unique quality to the face.
Scar looks cool. Maybe decide based on how you see her character. Is she someone who's been battle-tested before Inquisition? Or has she led a relatively injury-free Circle life? If you feel like the decision is in keeping with the character, I'm sure you won't regret it. In any case, she's very pretty!
Scar but, about half that intensity would look good and still look feminine too. Just a faint but noticeable scar.
Three part opinon:
1- The character is really beautiful in any case! Well done.
2 - I agree with everyone else, the scar looks really cool.
3 - I think if you choose a scar, it'll say something about who she is, rather than just what she looks like. The scar says (to me) that the circumstances of her life are ones in which she's got a few fights under her belt. No scar says she a woman who has, until the mark, led the relatively protected and sheltered life of a Circle mage of noble blood. Which feels better to you?
Thanks for the compliments, she was a pure fluke to create and I'm quite pleased with the result. Looks like the scar is the unanimous decision. Hopefully the black emporium will be released soon, I get to obsessive with restarting characters and at least then I can make small adjustments if something starts to irk me.

I like how you think, having an actual backstory to a feature is much better than just adding it for the sake of it. A circle mage who had a run in with one of the more anti-mage style of templars was my thoughts for the backround behind the scar. She's going to be pro rebellion (at the beginning anyways), and she and Vivi are going to have a particularly nasty relationship.
