Not to mention she'd also have power over the Inquisitor and therefore the Inquisition. Perfect excuse for our Inquisitor to go along with Morrigan if Bioware wants to put her back in the Inquisitor's story.
Hey you, been awhile. <hugs>
I was thinking much the same. I can say that I hope that they resolve the Mythal/Well/Morrigan subplot before the next game. I'm not usually one to complain too hard, but I am getting a little sick of these options that seem huge but will probably have little impact on future games. First the OGB, and now this. I'd rather see this resolved and the plot thread ended before the next DA. I'm not trying to whine too much, because the Well and the latter events were very well done, and probably some of the best scenes in the game. Still, it did make me a little sad that even though my IQ drinking from the Well seems like a big deal in this game, it'll likely get ignored and/or quickly resolved come the next game.
I know that resolving at least most of that situation would add a lot of closure to Inquisition. If they do a similar DLC for Solas as Witch Hunt, they can leave his fate mostly unresolved. Heck, maybe a sequel hook for the next game. After all, Briala has the elves active and a possible power in Orlais. Even if the player removes her from power, a cause and a passion for change doesn't die swifty or quietly.
I am beginning to suspect that some of the focus of the next game is going to be on the elves. Between the city elves of Orlais demanding/protesting for more recognition as people; Briala's influence, which will linger (even if the IQ choose to side against her); and now Solas determined to "help the People," I think the last DLC of Inquisition is going to be tying into an elven revolution as one of the major plots of DA4. I also think that Briala's influence (or at least her cries for change) has probably crossed the Waking Sea by now. I have a theory that the next game is going to take place up north, though I think we aren't going to see Tevinter come the next DA game.
I know one thing I'd love before the last DLC of Inquisition: Seeing Sandal again. He was supposed to be off to Orlais as of the end of DA2, but he was nowhere to be found. I've done Champions of the Just, so I saw the dwarf that looks a lot like him in the Fade. Yet, it didn't feel the same without hearing him say "Enchantment!" at least once.
It's weird...I'm not the biggest fan of the character, but I'm oddly attached to the strange but sweet dwarf. I also have this very sad feeling that Bodhain has passed away from old age, not due to the civil war or the Mage/Templar war. Died in his sleep. Even though my IQ didn't know him, it would be nice if the player could visit some sort of grave or memorial for Bodhain. He was a hero in his own right, and deserves a shout-out.
