In that they don't need a 'event.' They'll just drop the trailer on youtube with little (say a week after trailer drops) to no 'wait' period between offical annoucment to release. If memory serves Citadel didn't have a 'event' or anything like that. I say that because there was no presence at Pax East, not even a screenshot. E3 at least, in my opinion I doubt dlc for any game would be on top of "EA things to do list at E3."Also they would be working on dlc at least in my opinion for a long time without any major content between actual release of Inqustion to SP DLC. So I'd say a 7.
On a scale of 1-10 chances Bioware just releases the dlc?

No idea. Feels like they are taking there time with it so people don't accuse them of cutting content from the game by releasing too early, which we all know people will do anyway.

If they don't release it soon they need not bother. It is taking way to long. Allready moved on to other games. One can play the same game only for so long.

Maker, it really does suck that we can't have more than one video game installed on our video game machines. You'd think they'd figure out a way to make it so we could go back and play any game we owned at any time, to avoid this, but I guess not. ![]()

I put it as a nine. Really it worked with Citadel and unless its major DLC like well an Awakening esque expansion not worth justifying the resources to waste at a main event, and E3 will be devoted to whatever other projects EA is working on and the next ME game.

Drop it on the beta testers that are willing to buy it unannounced (assuming it's for sale and not free) 10.
Drop the trailer withing 5 days of release 8.
Drop the DLC unannounced period 2.

If you've played GTA5 then you must be REALLY pissed with Rockstar then if you think BioWare is taking to long

Rockstar's really taking too long on my long-awaited Red Dead sequel.
Sad for life.

Also Rockstar is taking too long n the free roam medieval style game set in 3 different regions that are big and separated by a map thst way it runs smoother and more interior locations are available. Or a new spin where they take the cuurent los Santos and make it look like its been rocked by some disaster and vines are growing taking back the streets..Enter Will Smith, Handcock the last Dance Master on earth....ahem anyways the melee combat in GTA has always been hit or miss and never perfect but they could fine tune it (remember the warriors video game. Combat was alright)
ALso DA2 could of been a GTA Medieval City as the story takes place in one city and around it the entire time as in GTA. Also it would be hilarious to see how they use satire to mae fun of mdern RPGs within the Medieval City or (the land of Mid-realm or Midwestero or Grand Realm Kingdoms/Kingdoms of the Grand Realm idk)

You have to factor in that the first single-player story DLC is meant to be an XBox exclusive. The XBox players will get it some indeterminate amount of time before the rest of us, so I imagine there will be some kind of advance publicity, if only to remind everyone of that.

Are they even planning on releasing a story based DLC at all ? I haven't heard or read anything about it so maybe we are waiting in vain. I mean why keep asking about it when the devs have said nothibg regarding a DLC.

What DLC?
The inquisitor has run out of flags from his/her last flag planting spree and now has to get more.
In order to do so the Inquisitor has to collect at least 60 bales of cotton and 10 long sticks in order to craft the flags.
The inquisitor then has to plant 3 of the flags in locations around map. The fate of the other 7 flags is to be continued...
The end.

depends. but since i'm naive and idealistic...
no chance they release a story DLC before fixing the game.
they have strong competition this year. people won't be annoyed anymore, they simply refuse to buy flawed merchandise when there's plenty of good quality products elsewhere. maybe those people are minority, tho looking at the metacritic - it's a bit more than a few disgruntled consumers.
as for multiplayer.. who the f..k cares about multiplayer anyway?

They kinda have to, or they'll be in breach of contract with Microsoft, won't they?

They made a deal with Microsoft regarding DA:I DLC, that it would be a limited time exclusive on the XB1 I believe.
