They announced this back during E3, and talked about it later. Note that the actual phrasing doesn't say that PC comes after XBox, just that XBox is the first console. Who knows what'll actually happen there, though.

Didnt the multiplayer dlc come out the same day across all platforms? Unless the deal only applies to single player...

They made a deal with Microsoft regarding DA:I DLC, that it would be a limited time exclusive on the XB1 I believe. 

And now I've been reminded about this and am less hyped about DAI DLC . Probably for the best, exam preparations are coming up soonish

Yes, it apparently works too or they wouldn't keep doing it with almost every game (especially RPGs) that come out

 

If someone has all three game systems, and is going to get the game anyways, the chance to get DLC a little bit earlier is probably a deciding factor in which version to buy

I agree I have no problem waiting a few weeks or a month to get the dlc because it is coming just at bit later .

They can review it for us. I don't blame BW for it though. It's free money they can hopefully put back in to make it better overall.

I don't mind later access. The frustrating bit will be the necessary information blackout to avoid spoilers. There go all my favourite gaming forums for a while.

The issue is that DAI is still a severely buggy game and as of right now every patch seems to add to this problem but I agree that Dlc wont be released for awhile still until the Game is stable enough so who knows it could be a month or a year.

On Thursday Pillars of Eternity releases and in May, Witcher3 - with a pile of FREE DLC content planned for the weeks following the release. If there is to be a DLC for DA:I, it needs to be soon, something special and free. If not it's unlikely I'll go for it.

I feel like this is going to be the case for many people. If you had told me that going into April, almost five months after the release in November, that Bioware would still be patching basic aspects of the game and not releasing a single SP DLC, I'd have called you crazy.

...now I'm just calling Bioware crazy.

In that they don't need a 'event.' They'll just drop the trailer on youtube with little (say a week after trailer drops) to no 'wait' period between offical annoucment to release. If memory serves Citadel didn't have a 'event' or anything like that. I say that because there was no presence at Pax East, not even a screenshot. E3 at least, in my opinion I doubt dlc for any game would be on top of "EA things to do list at E3."Also they would be working on dlc at least in my opinion for a long time without any major content between actual release of Inqustion to SP DLC. So I'd say a 7.

CDPR are such geniuses. Ship the game incomplete but tell the fans they're getting the rest of the game later, and they'll love you for it.
