Ha. This thread is prophecy.

I completely eye-rolled the thread title when I first saw it.

CDPR are such geniuses. Ship the game incomplete but tell the fans they're getting the rest of the game later, and they'll love you for it.

Kidding. Sort of.

Well, maybe, but I least I know what I'm buying and when I'll get the DLC's and at no extra cost. And I'd bet my last pound that there will not be a 650+ page post on their forums about why the PC version doesn't work.

That is not really an excuse that justifies anything. knowing you are willingly buying into an unfinished product is just as bad as expecting content in a finished product.

Maybe this is why folks tend to be a tad spoiled sometimes.

Are you asking if she'll pull a Beyonce?

Probably not.

Woops.

Despite assuming that there'd be some kind of advertising period, I still feel smug because I've been saying 'the first DLC will come out in March or April' for months, every single time a 'WHERE IS THE DLC IS THE SKY FALLING????' thread went up.

Let's see if I'm right this time: the second single-player DLC will arrive in late July or August, and the third and final one in October or November.

Really? I would think it shows that people will mindlessly buy anything. Kind of going the different direction on the perspective spectrum.

There isn't one of those here, either. That isn't what the bulk of that thread is about.

Then why complain at all when it will be bought regardless?

People's sentiment rarely matches their purchasing habits. How many people do you know who despise being overweight yet continue to purchase fast food? Same principle here - people loathe that the video game industry can manipulate them into giving them money against their better nature.
