The purchaser would have to get a new redemption code from Bioware, I believe. I think they'd have to pay for it.

You can still put it on eBay or Craigslist. The buyer will just have to take that extra step.

Yeah, you can't really sell used PC games today as you were able to in the past (big companies hate second hand market), they are either locked to your Steam, Origin or Uplay account, even when you buy a physical copy. But there is for example GoG.com - you can with a group of friends make one account, every now and then someone will buy something and everyone will be able to download it and play it legally, because there is no DRM ![]()

DAI is not active in the Deauthorization tool yet but, if it does become possible, you can deauthorize it so that it can be installed on another computer. That doesn't remove it from your account and, whoever bought it would not have access to the Keep or any online feature. To do that you would have to contact help.ea.com and chat with a game adviso to have it totally removed form your account, then who ever bought it would have to do the same to get the game put on their account.
Some games charge a fee, I expect DAI will be one of them so, it may cost them 10 USD to get the game on their account.

Well Steam DRM made account locked games popular and others just followed the example since people just loved it for convenience.
I have seen one or two online stores have a buy back option where you could sell the digital copy back at a reduced price but it excluded games that were linked to Steam.
Steam also made it popular to make EULA's where you technically no longer have ownership of the game* you merely have a non-transferable subscription to it....... thanks Steam.
*Some European courts found the locking of games to an account on Steam anti-consumerism so instead of allowing people to trade or sell digital games they re-wrote the EULA so you no longer have ownership, and if you didn't agree to the new EULA you got locked out. Other digital clients followed suit since so many people just agreed to the Steam license.

Yeah, this is another bullshit, buying full product and not really owning it... Although, once again, not everyone follows it, but I can't think of anybody else than CD Projekt with their GOG.
And what really pisses me off is the non-return policy on Steam. At least Origin does this better (this and downloading games and patches). I have heard of cases that some EU players were able to return their games. After all we have in our law systems that products bought online can be returned in 14 days, but I am not sure if it applies to digital stuff as well (if I buy a physical copy of a game online, I can return it in 14 days no questions asked, although that is not the same as buying digital copy).

Honestly, with no Keep / MP or going through all this hassle to get it working, one would be better off with pirating the game ![]()

Or you can just wait for those huge sales / humblebundles and buy the games online for 1-10€ ![]()
