Meh not really affected if a person proclaims themselves vegan, good for them.

Everyone is better then me regardless. But what I have found is they do not respect my decision to eat meat. They still see me as a savage.

You're damn right we're better than you. The fact that you are willing to use a marshmallow as an avatar betrays the fact that either you are ignorant of the suffering of the pigs who died to give us gelatin, or do not care. This is exactly the kind of inhumanity that capitalism breeds in what could have been virtuous human societies. Also, don't get your shots. The pharmaceutical industry still perpetuates the enslavement of birds by using eggs to breed the influenza virus for inoculations, even though we've had the technology to make flu shots using model eggs since the Reagan administration.

Eh, if someone specifically really is being judgmental and/or sanctimonious about being a vegan, then responding being judgement about everyone like them is just fighting fire with fire.

 

And other platitudes. 

 

I've seen people rantingly accuse Vegans of being these things after hearing someone order a Vegan option off of a menu, so I take it with a grain of salt that it's quite as common an attitude among Vegans as is often suggested. 

 

As ever, there's bad attitudes and extremism in every group.

I don't believe a vegan has ever done that to me before. Then again if it did happen, I woudn't have noticed it since I was probably captivated by the steak i was eating. /shrug
