Get those Reapers out my head, Get those Reapers out my head,
Get those Reapers out my head, Get those Reapers out my head,
Get those Reapers out my head, Get those Reapers out my head,
Get those Reapers out my head, Get those Reapers out my head,
Get those Reapers out my head, Get those Reapers out my head.
Reasons to be cheerful (Part 3).
Shepard on trial, not guilty by a mile,
Reapers acting vile while we take to the stars.
Alliance acting rashly, promotions for Ashley,
Then she gets bashed-ly while on Mars.
EDI and Joker, Liara’s the Shadow Broker,
Lots of frightened folk are leaving Earth.
Cerberus going crazy, Council acting lazy,
TIM’s motives hazy (give him a wide berth).
Gilbert and Sullivan, fighting over Palaven,
Krogan and turians are joining up.
Finally reached the stage, where we’ve cured the Genophage,
Grunt should act his age, the immature pup.
Citadel under assault, whole thing’s Udina’s fault,
Shepard and his crew halt a huge bloodbath.
Kai Leng escapes, though, but of course all of us know,
We’ll end up coming to blows in the second half.

Reasons to be Cheerful (Part 3).
Legion and Han’Gerrel, Tali is an Admiral,
Tries her best to save them all (she’s such a sweetie pie).
Words of love on Rannoch, Shepard has a plan of,
Talking down the stand-off, well Keelah se’lai!
War reaches Thessia, makes it very messy-a,
Shepard and the best of ya, arrive to save the day.
Just as we were winning, Leng shows up grinning,
Leaves Shepard spinning, then flies away.
Headed to Horizon, maybe you should do Leviathan,
(Though I think you only can if you bought the DLC).
Miranda and her sister, managed not to miss her,
When she insisted I give her those keys.
Time for a side-track, plot our plan of attack,
To the Citadel we’ll head back and have lots of fun.
Fighting off CAT-6 blokes, meeting some familiar folks,
Remembering all the old jokes from Mass Effect 1.

Yes, yes, dear, dear, the end is coming near,
I know you were hoping it would never,
But be prepared in case…

Attack Cerberus once again, to Kai Leng we’ll bring pain,
“That one was for Thane, you son of a ******!”
I really would be lying, if that was not satisfying,
Watching him dying, like scratching an itch.
Heading back to Earth at last, old friends from the past,
Do we have to do this so fast, to say goodbye?
Letting go of what’s mine, really, I think I am fine,
Tali: “I want more time”, Oh God I’m gonna cry!
Final push to the beam, Harbinger’s on the scene,
This last goodbye I deem the saddest one of all.
Meeting the Catalyst, (he’s really quite a fatalist),
Shepard’s a survivalist, no way he’ll fall.
I really liked the ending, to some that’s mind bending,
But I won’t mind sending you all I know,
About why this trilogy, is the best in gaming history,
From now until infinity, now I should go!

Glad to see someone else do Mass Effect inspired parody songs. Used to try my hand at this back in 2012. This was written shortly after playing the EC. Original song American Pie:- Don Maclean
Mass Effect Pie
Verse 1
A long long time ago
I can still remember how Mass Effect used to make me smile
And I knew if I had my chance
That I could make my Shepard dance
And maybe I’d be happy for a while
In February I was all a quiver
Wondering what ME3 would deliver
The hype reached into space
Soon I would be able to save my race
So I bought the game with pride
From my Shep, the Reapers would run and hide
Then something touched me deep inside
The day the galaxy died
Chorus
It's the final slice of Mass Effect Pie
Flew old Mandy through the galaxy
Now the end was in sight
Got all the races fighting by my side
Today’s the day The Reapers die
Today’s the day that they die
Now for many years we've been on our quest
No time to sleep, no time to rest
Got to save the galaxy
So Shepard saved the Krogan Queen
And gave the Krogan a chance to dream
By curing the genophage
But before the Krogan could sing their songs
Cerberus found an ancient bomb
The Turian prince sadly died, but now they’ll join the fight
And while Shepard raced old Mandy thru space
The Council was in a desperate place
Cerberus troops were on the case
The day the galaxy died
We were singing
Chorus
Shepard foils the coup on the citadel
When the council is attacked by a beast out of hell
Stops the attack but loses a friend
Victim of an assassins blade,
Then a Friend points a gun in the hero’s face
But again the council is saved
Now the Quarians were in a desperate place
They’d started a war to save their race
They launched an attack fated only to fail
And the Geth made a desperate betrayal
The Geth had made a deal with the Reapers
And they had helped them think deeper
Shepard had to change to fight the sleepers
The day the galaxy died
We were singing
Chorus
Shepard has to journey to Thessia
Before it is lost to the Reapers
With little time on his side
So Come on Shepard Be nimble, be quick
The assassins plot armour is thick
Shepard stumbles loses the prize
So again Shepard journeys through space
His hands clenched in fists of rage
Into the bowels of hell
He breaks Sanctuary’s spell
So on again with new will for the fight
The Cerberus base is in sight
To win he has to trust an AI
The day the galaxy died
We were singing
Chorus
Shepard returns to Earth’s Skies
Where the Reapers have taken the prize
There they stand and reap away
Shepard fights through London’s streets
There’s a reaper that he has to defeat
He lures it to him and blows it away
The last race to the Citadel beam
Lasers fire and men scream
Shepard almost dies, but the ending is in sight
The Illusive man chooses suicide
Shepard confronts an insane AI
The galaxy’s fate Shepard has to decide.
The day they galaxy died
We start singing
Chorus
Do you believe in hope?
Is it something that helps you cope?
With the trials that life provides
And do you believe in your friends?
Who fight beside you until the end
Was that the message the game tried to send?
No you’re wrong came an almighty voice
Shepard has to make a choice
And if he doe’s not choose, he is guaranteed to lose
The choices remain Red green and blue
The authors explained them better for you.
And everyone dies if you refuse
The Day the galaxy died
Chorus
That was your final slice of Mass Effect Pie
Flew old Mandy through the galaxy Now the end was in sight
Got all the races fighting by my side
But today’s the day The galaxy died
Today’s the day we all die
That was your final slice of Mass Effect Pie
Flew old Mandy through the galaxy Now the end was in sight
Got all the races fighting by my side
But today’s the day The galaxy died
Today’s the day we all die

There once was a great RPG
Called Mass Effect on Xbox and PC
It started out cheery
But then turned quite dreary
When the series ended in colors of three.
Shepard was the name of our hero
Whose coolness ran down to subzero
With undefined gender
Our galactic defender
Was powered by element zero
Our greatest foe was the Reapers
Genocidal millennial sleepers
They were dark and mysterious
At least when they're serious
And not controlled by the holokid creeper
But we're not alone in this fight
We've got squadmates, loyal and tight
As long as they came
From the very first game
And not from that interquel piece of shite (amirite?)
So what's the moral of this story?
This falls under which category?
Well it started out good
But you probably should
Invest your time elsewhere, dear signori*
