I think the massive amount of re-releases is a big sign of that. How many people really wanted a "new" robocop or a "new" Indiana Jones? Pretty sad. 

 

The only movie they're remaking that I'm actually looking forward to is Moby Dick. It's called In the Heart of the Sea. That's something I'd watch tbh. Suppose to coming out sometime this year. Idk when though and I don't feel like Googling it.

 

But most remakes just makes me go wtf. Like I hear they're remaking Secret of Nimh (1982) like wat. That movie was the s**t. Why on earth would someone remake something that doesn't need to be remade? Go home Hollywood, you're drunk.
