Hello everyone. It is me with my questions again.

 

I have heard and know that playing SWtOR is free now and you can download it and log in and play it just like that. I do have an origin and an EA account. When I try to sign in to my EA?Origin account to play the game it does not let me. Once it say you do not meet the criteria, the other it says maintenance, next time it says invalid name or password. Even when I go in new and chose a username and password and country and all, it still prevents me....help.

Are you using  your email as account name or your SWTOR account name?

That's something I fail to remember after having a long break from the game. It won't let you log in using your email.

I`ve tried both of them. None works.

did you actually create a SWTOR account? it might use the same password as your Origin account but it still requires separate registration

 

EDIT: oh wait i was wrong, its the same registration but it requires your Origin display name in order to work

Have you tried logging onto the forums? I personally don't use Origin for my SWTOR, I have it launch through Steam for the overlay. Never had this kind of issue, had some weird stuff going on when I used Origin in the past though.

I was under the impression (from personal experience) that f2p can't post on the forums?  Have they changed that?

That's possible, but they still need to be able to log in to change their payment plans and such.

I tried with my origin display name and my password. it just says log in failed.

 

Earlier I had downloaded the game and then tried to log in it did not work. Now trying to log in straight from its site and still does not work.

okay, there is no reason for it not to work, make sure you're using the correct name and password, use the forgotten password/name links in the launcher

Contact the SWToR team Customer Support. I have included that link under: Team.  I hope they can help you. Looking forward to hearing what you found or if you had been help. I do have the game (the Collector's edition) before it became Free to Play. Know that you can only have six character limit under Free to Play. =)

Actually 2; 6 is 'preferred status' limit (just by some coins and you'll probably get it - I forget the actual spending threshold for preferred).

for f2p the limit is 2 but you can get extra slots on GTN, i bought 10 and they apply to all servers

okay idiotic idea - you did add the launcher as an exception in your firewall right?

also, according to the forums this issue can be caused by your pc's date and time being set incorrectly

Lol, I forget that I am a founder. I haven't played the game in a year and when I returned,. I only had access to six of my characters on each realm..  Yes, they did placed me in "Preferred status"  until I reactivate my subscription.  Thanks for this information.

Corrected my Date and time but still the same error.

Now I hve another problem. lol I clicked on forgot my display name and then entered my mail address. When I went to sign in to my yahoo mail to retrieve it, because I have changed my ISP and also have not signed in to that certain mail for like ages, it did not recognize me. Now, when asked my secutiry question, I gave the answer in different forms. Funny never accepted it. lol

I finally got the SWToR up and running. I picked up playing a Sith Inquisitor as my first character. I am stock at that "hate Machine" mission. I cant seem to find two people to team up with and beat the mission. Anybody who has a character in that area so they can help me through this?
