The thing you need to know about enemy agro is that once an enemy has a lock on you, it will take like 3 second until he starts firing.
Barring Collectors, where it's 0.1 second from the time you round the corner to when you're downed.

He should also be aware of enemy agro. Say if you are out of sight of all enemies and all you teammates are still alive and not tac-cloak spamming winfiltrator. Just come around a corner and dive right into any mess, but open with a reave toward one of them, then run up and bubble for a biotic boom stager on that reaved enemy, and finally run behind soft cover (if needed) to take care of the rest with reave detonating anyone left in the bubble.

I would word that a little differently. Enemies reevaluate targets every 3 secs but during that time it's not like their fingers are up their butts, they don't wait 3 secs to start firing. They peak behind the curtain and have a general idea where you are at before you even come out of cover, this is how the AI paths its way to the players efficiently.
I have yet to master Pull (which seems a very weak ability and waste of cooldown because of how limited it is), and I'm not a fan of non 5/5 specialization/fitness builds either...
The bubble cast animation is so long, though.
Ah yes, I was going to make a longer post earlier but it kind of slipped my mind. Your build has a gaping chasm as far as what it can deal with. Shields are going to be just a monumental pain in the ass for you because Reave is low damage versus shields, warp rounds get no bonus versus shields whatsoever, etc. I know the cooldown of your powers would suffer but you almost need an acolyte or Talon on her. You could run the Talon as a primary of course without the Lancer but I seem to remember you don't like the weapon. I think with an Acolyte though you would see Geth would be a lot easier as would annoying enemies if you throw a few points into pull. Just easier to dispatch Phantoms and annoying enemies like Hunters with pull/reave.

Also, I believe that there is a "target lock" time for enemies, after which their accuracy becomes close to perfect. They will shoot at you immediately when they see you, but if you're strafing (and especially if you have high movement speed), they won't hit you a lot of the time. If they are still shooting at you after the "target lock" time, they will often hit you even if you are running full Drell speed.

Yep, I forget how long the lock time is. Masochists adjust that to make the enemies more accurate quicker.
Ah okay it varies according to frame rate.
30 FPS: 5-6 seconds
60FPS: 3 seconds
120FPS: 1.5 seconds

A game changing parameter that varies wildly with FPS (in a non-FPS-locked game)? Awesome job, Bioware!
Or is FPS locked at 60 on PC?..

I don't think I'd dislike Talon. I just don't have it.

It's only locked as a maximum. A bad PC can hover around 30fps or even lower. This is why the difficulty of PC games can vary so much.
Take one host with an old PC -- let's call him Red John -- and compare him to another host with a liquid cooled rig and the game 'adjusted' to run 120fps -- let's call him ObeyLogic -- and you've got a much bigger difference than Silver to Gold, without even factoring in lag.

Vanelsa's tankticar build works fine in Platinum if you have a good squad, and works fine in Gold regardless (although having a terrible squad can make the match much, much longer since her damage isn't great). The main thing is to keep Reave and Bubble up for the DR and stick to hard cover as much as possible - do that and she can let almost anything shoot in her the face without flinching; a full three-shot salvo from an Atlas' cannon will break shield gate, but leave her health intact. Her only real problems come from scions (whose cannon delays shield recharge) and phantoms and banshees (who will just run/teleport directly to her and either sync-kill her or flush her out of both cover and bubble).
Had 2 very weird games today (Gold, and this is still offensive build). In the first one there are 3 of us: me, Batarian with a stasis field (don't know which class that is) and a Volus who spent more time dead than alive, although he was helpful while alive. We were carrying the waves in turn, me and the Batarian, as one of us was getting sync killed. I didn't think we'll make it, but ended up with full extraction. I think I've finished with 130k and the Batarian with 140k. That's the highest score I've ever gotten yet! Conclusion - the offensive Justicar is great.
The next game, the Batarian switched to Fury, and we got 2 other biotics. That was a BE fest. We teared everything apart... until we started struggling at wave 8, barely finished 9 with some medigels and missiles, and got wiped at 10. I still don't understand what went wrong.
Gonna finally promote and spec for tank and recharge speed now.

I know, right? That's one of the most stupid things about this game...

Oh damn. Now I have to figure out a way to underclock my PC to slow it down and lower the fps.

Cheaters...
Just set it in the coalesced. I think it works?
Nice. I am thinking of setting it at 240 fps and then host the game and wait for unsuspecting PUGs ![]()

You wouldn't be the first one to do that ![]()
