I have been playing this mostly

http://kalence.drupa...13N51314!5F9A5O

Is the rank 4 in armor worth it over the rank 5 in fitness? Other question is headshot damage or power damage in rank 5 of passive. Also what other weapons would you use?

4/4 gives you the most durability. As for weapons, mostly anything goes since he's a fat Turian (goodTM), but I use the Saber, cos Overload-->Headshot-->Text Book!

As for ammo I could warp cheese with incindary. But is AP better than Warp?

AP gives you a bigger damage boost vs all targets + you can skip on piercing mod while Warp ammo givs you a bigger bonus to enemies, you or your teammates biotically primed. Warp ammo has a bit more utility, because it works well on both barriers and armor.

Both are good, but Incendiary cheese is what it is - cheese and you can't argue vs cheese.

Skipping either of those was punishable by death in the empire.

not maxing survivability is punishable by death when you are taking damage.

1200 shields and 40% damage reduction and you'll be fine.

no I would never skip either. If you wanted you could run 3/6/6/6/5 and take shield recharge because your not gaining all that much DR with rank 4 Tech armor.

One of these two: Zap n shoot or Cross-chop build

The first one is the more 'classic' build - similar to yours. I prefer drill ammo on him. It gives more wall hax than AP but its key disadvantage is the lower armor mitigation compared to AP. Since TSent has warp to debuff armor, it covers the biggest weakness of drill compared to AP.

The second build is more for the lulz. Overload - get in close - cross chop. Follow it with tech armor detonation if the enemy survives. Weapon is predominantly for bosses. Warp+warp ammo to chew through armor.

Sometimes, I'll equip a venom, and stagger the cr*p out of everything.

Key word 'was'.  Empire now crumbled ruin.  Tsent is one of the kits that really deserved a second spot on the roster.  So many builds.

Overload melee build is excellent, if a bit boutique-y.

Warp build with claymore and incendiary ammo is like playing a fanatical hermit savant.

Fabulous build is fabulous.

However, I prefer having warp in my melee build. :P

my point was that 1425 shield/50% DR is better than 1200 shield/40% DR...

I skip overload in my build, because I put an acolyte on everything. Overload's stun will have to go.

Not really. If you're behind a wall, they're both the same :P

Serious point is: you don't need all those effective shields.

Q: What is the only kind of damage that Warp doesn't boost?

A: Melee damage.

Overload-only build is protest against stoopid Warp mechanic.

He's the most well rounded character in the game, capable of excelling with almost any build and any weapon.

For weapons, I like him with

  • Lancer (Turian passives helps counteract the Lancer's stability problems; you can throw on +stability gear if you must, but not required; and pausing to use Overload or Warp lets the Lancer refill)
  • Sabre (an elegant weapon for a more civilized age)
  • Particle Rifle (Warp + Incendiary Ammo, or just Warp Ammo if you don't want to cheese it; pausing to use abilities lets it refill)
  • Hurricane (it's better on the Turian Soldier, but the Sentinel can also make it work)
  • Talon or Wraith (good on every character)

I always wondered why warp didn't boost any melee damage. It's a shame tbh.

TSent's melee has a penalty against armor and if warp's debuff applied to melee as well, it would be fkn fantastic. But alas!

Melee? All I need is TECH ARMOR!   :P

Why not both? :P
