Me too; she and her missions are so much more interesting than Samson's.

I love many of the characters (though there are a few I can't stand) If I had to name favourites, those would be Alistair, Shale, Awakening Anders, Fenris, the Arishok *fans self*, Cassandra and Dorian.

Alistair and Aveline.  I can't pick, don't make me pick!  (Ok I'd probably pick Alistair but...Aveliiiiiine.)  They are followed closely by Shale, Dorian, Cass and Varric.

Cole, especially as more-spirit, followed by Cassandra. These two now top my "favourite Bioware characters of all time" list. Honorable mention goes to Wynne. I'd like to give one to Flemeth, too, but I utterly hate Morrigan and these two are sadly linked, which makes Flemeth vastly less enjoyable despite her undeniable badassery.

That's a tough one. I can't decide on my favorite squad combo, and to narrow it down to one...

 

Companion-wise, it's between Morrigan, Dorian, and Iron Bull.

 

Non-companion it'd probably be Abelas. I dunno why, everything about that dude is cool.

No question Cole and Solas are at the top of the pedestal for me. They are fascinating and feel fresh and unique and I could listen to them for hours. Am I the only one who always runs up to their favorite hoping new dialogue will magically appear?

 

I've also loved Cullen's development through the games. And Varric well... who doesn't love Varric and his chest hair? Also, Dorian never fails to amuse me.

 

 

Non-companion it'd probably be Abelas. I dunno why, everything about that dude is cool.

There's a few I really like, so I'll make it more a top type of thing rather then choosing just one

A few notes here and there. I'll place everything in a spoiler tag just to be sure.

Cassandra - I was a bit dissapointed that when she becomes divine she basically doesn't do anything... All my dialogue with her, led me to believe she will do what Leliana does if she becomes divine... and then when she is divine she does nothing... Eh, one of the only problems I have with her, considering she is my 2nd favorite charcter in DAI, a thing I did NOT expect before the game came out lol.

Fenris - normally I have no patience for the narrow minded "one rule fits all" type of mentality he has, but, to me he feels like he is willing and able to learn, understand and eventually accept that he is wrong. Sign of intelligence right there... major aspect for me

Anders - he's a great character, who went through a very complex change from DAO to DA2, even though at times the process seemed a bit rushed, and in my opinion a lot of creative potential wasted here and there, but eh, what can you do. Obviously I disagree with the homophobic bs that misrepresents him as an overly aggressive ****** out to get the poor str8 boys, and it's often not worth mentioning, but it was, at times, still difficult to listen to the ammount of idiocy and fake-fact-out-of-a** surrounding this subject.

Isabela - another great character. A woman who enjoys sex and doesn't hide it or is ashamed by it? The scandal! The horror! Again, smart character, which is big for me, even though she does do some dumb things here and there, but who doesn't? 

Varric - the sense of humor is perfect! The character feels natural, again with flaws and qualities... amazing work.

Flemeth - oh my... really liked her. The snark, the bite, the laughter... She doesn't read evil to me, never has, and the murky intentions are kind of appealing. This could have gone over the top, but instead it came together to form one amazingly appealing charactyer.

Morrigan - Her dialogues in DAO! Just awesome.

Dorian - so much to say Already said most on other threads so not gonna go into fanboy mode again lol. One thing I don't like is the moustache...

Leliana, though I really didn't like what she 'developed' into in DA2 and DAI.  But being able to play her history in Leliana's Song, then see her in the Chantry, then have her join your party and be a rogue again, having her fall in love, breaking ties with her past, etc. was all interesting.  Being brought back, dead or alive, in DA2 was just awkward.  Her position in DAI can make more sense, but would love more story as to how she got there (DLC maybe).
