If you play Assassin regularly, what are your favourite four actives you like to use. Not necessarily the best ones but the ones you enjoy playing with the most.

My setup is as follows:

Stealth

Flank Attack

Hidden Blades

Hook and Tackle

For my next build I'm going to try replacing H&T with Shadow Strike which I haven't actually never even tried.

I've been most effective with stealth, hidden blades, twin fangs and shadow strike.  I tried the hook/tackle for one build but didn't like it (code for: couldn't figure out how to be effective with it).

H&T looks awesome. I've used it a lot on my Hunter but often times the enemy will get a swing against you, even though it's supposed to stun. This happens against the Red Templar and Venatori swordsmen, so I'm not sure if I'm doing it right.

Not yet. Can't play all the time, need to work every now and then. Why?

I don't really know what's the issue. I just said the next build I'm going to try is akin to the one I posted with the exception of H&T being replaced with Shadow Strike that I haven't previously played with.

That means there is a chance I like it more than the ones I listed once I try it.

Edit: Oh, we're going into making fun of the non-native english speakers. Terribly sorry about that, but my country's Bioware forum doesn't exist so I'll just have to try and cope with this.

It's not an issue it's just a stickler for grammar.

As a non-native english speaker myself, your coping is exemplary.

The grammar police fortunately do not issue tickets...  :police:

Stealth / Twin Fangs / Hidden Blades / Deathblow. I also use the passive which let's you stealth after each kill, as I am confortable to stealth as much as possible. The Hook n Takle variant looks fun but then I would use it instead of hidden blades and that's risky. Hidden Blades = one shot anything.

Stealth, hidden blades, twin fangs, and either flank attack or deathblow. Never can decide which one I like better.

I'm kinda going for loadsa Stealth myself next. How's the Twin Fangs hit rate on such build? I have so far used it in transit and it missed too much but on a stealth heavy build you'd at least get opener on less moving target, that is if you want to open with it.

I reasoned that Shadow Strike at least helps the Stealth cooldown whereas TF doesn't.

Twin Fangs

Hidden Blades

Flank Attack

Stealth

This build allows you to 1 shot dangerous enemies (treasure room guardians, assassins like shadow and fear demon, despair demon etc) with Hidden Blades, as well as nearly taking down the room 5 boss.

You are constantly able to be in stealth, so you never have agro with the I Was Never Here passive. It is excellent, and a must have on Perilous, if they see you, you're toast.

I tend to find myself taking out the assassins in the group before the group is pulled with HB, re-stealth, then position behind the archers. Twin Fangs usually can 1 shot each of them (hopefully you're using some good daggers), or you can get it real close. Then re-stealth and kill more archers.

You're mobile with Flank Attack, and it works like an o-sh*t button if you do end up with agro, as you can disappear behind your enemy when stealth isn't available.

I use the Blade of Red Birth in my main hand, and Agony in my offhand.

I can't speak for them but in builds where I run the same (stealth/hidden blades/deathblow/twing fangs) I would be opening with deathblow. If you are getting flank crits with it out of stealth you will 1 shot everything and the deathblow CD keeps getting erased. I use twin fangs for if I don't kill them with DB or need to close a gap. You can jump like 15 feet with TF.

Hidden blades

Deathblow (with upgrade)

Twin Fangs (no upgrade)

Stealth (with upgrade, obviously)

Must have passive:  I was never here.

I've read a thread a while back about a more "team oriented" assassin build that uses flanking attack with the stealth upgrade instead of taking I was never here.  I can definitely see the use for that particular build, if you are in a reliable group, but the fact remains, that if every one of your team members gets knocked out for some unforeseen reason, you are screwed.  I can see people complaining about assassin having little to no survivability on perilous.  I was never here will solve all of your problems.  That, and smart playing, of course.

Twin Fangs, Deathblow, Stealth, Lantern.

TF OHKO almost everything*

TF DB two shot everything else

Lantern-Return does not break stealth, though initially placing does.

Troll enemy AI with positional differences between stealth and lantern across the map

Solo-Carry Perilous Pugs with Assassin after PuGs predictably die.

*Use Critical Damage bonus rings instead of HoK. Use lantern to return me to full health.

No hidden blades, No Flanking attack, No HoK just pure stabbity, cooldown and aggro management. Plus Prince of Persia style reverse-time teleport.

I don't have blades of Red Birth. I have level 20 Blue Coiled Strike and L20 unique Walking Death. I still melt bosses after popping a mighty offense potion.

I once thought I would troll the demon commander by placing my fallback plan way across the map, then snuck up on him, threw my hidden blades, teleported back.  Turns out he was going to troll me instead.  The moment my hidden blades hit, he did that terror AOE attack and teleported right under my fallback location, knocked me down and slapped me silly. :P

Maybe I timed it wrong.  Maybe I should have waited a bit.. not sure.

H&T is awsome! It minimize your distance to casters. No more running to casters while in non-stealth. Super effective, u take less dmg and deal more dmg.
