Oh yeah, you'll notice a ton of things, just by taking different people in your party. ![]()
And I noticed that too. I had the... misfortune?... of romancing him in my first playthrough, so hindsight was definitely 20/20.
I'm on my fourth and fifth playthroughs, and have been taking Cole along very frequently (after I switched him to an Archer). If Bull is in the party, you can learn all kinds of things about him.
Anyone that's in the party, really. He's like the annoying mind-reader that makes everyone uncomfortable, by telling their deepest, darkest secrets. I love him for it. ![]()
He also has some interesting conversations with Solas.
The faint, wolf shaped scar on Solas' forehead. Would have saved a lot of heartbreak
I really rushed through my first playthrough, so I'd say the biggest things I noticed the second time would have to be the Emerald Graves and the Hissing Wastes...completely missed them the first time through! ![]()
Solas to my Inquisitor, in the prologue: ur dalish rite
Inky: ye so wanna fite
Eggman: me and the dalish have crossed paths before
Inky: then u know to be wary
Dr Robotnik: i know enuff to be suspicious
SAYS SHIFTY MC SHIFTERSON OVER HERE?!?!

I never clicked the 3rd option. What does he mean by "I know enough to be suspicious"??

I did notice Blackwall's cryptic responses, even just about trust and friendship in general too. Solas' expression when you first try to seal the rift says a lot too. And I discovered the Hissing Wastes. ![]()

Probably because he's used to them mocking his "stories" and decrying him as a madman, flatear, etc

There is not a single playthrough where I wouldn't notice something new, never seen before. I discovered Sutherland questline on my 4th playthrough, the wedding thing on5th,and so on. New places, new banters, something new every time:)
Me too! This game never ends! ![]()
On my first playthrough, I totally missed the haunted mansion in the Emerald Graves
I was shocked and delighted when I found it on my second playthrough because my first PT was over 200 hours...so I was pretty thorough. No way did I think I missed something that big. Cole was with me when I visited it the first time and that made it more interesting.
I remember in my first playthrough feeling uneasy about Blackwall, but we were bros, then I found out and, I was mad. For me that ruined him as a character.
