Well, I'd say I was surprised by how they treated people who play videogames but it is (N)CIS so it really was a given.
Seriously, the game played itself? If they didn't resort to stereotyping, I'd say that might have been an attempt at an intentional dig at Inquisition.

Well, to be fair, they obviously downloaded the "Invincible Party While The Game Plays Itself" mod.

This was also mentioned in the Twitter thread at the time. Mike Laidlaw was informed by his folks of the scene, I believe. And if I had a large enough place, that gaming system set-up could have morphed into envy!

And the scene looked like the game had been left running at high volume, and the party was encountering a Dragon. My guess; this was not going to last much longer....

Then Varric killed it in 12 seconds using nothing more than Hail or Arrows, Leaping Shot, Full Draw, and Bianca's awesomeness.
