You wouldnt. The jumping was leaked from a dev. The location of the quest reward was pretty easy to work out though if youve been to the area in EDL before.

I did found that snow cave by accident, but didnt do the part before so no chest.

Why? I've been to that area, I noticed the veil fire torch, so I, like many, would assume there is a rune thing near by. It was a dead end, I wouldn't think to jump over that fallen wall and then walk through what I'd assume is a rock wall.I lit the torch, and walked the other way to find the rune, then left.

 

Quests like this and hidden areas like this are stupid.

See, I tried this for about 30 minutes last night, and got something completely different. The guy in the house just gave out a few lines of randomness, and no quest.

He is talking about crystal grace. That's the faith, hope and thing of life. I think you have the UI disabled, but im pretty sure you have the quest.

The words in the fail screen make me think that there is an element of randomness about the result. Kinda like how sometimes Thalantyr's spell would turn Mellicamp from a chicken back into a human and sometimes it would turn him into a short, soft shower of chicken guts.

@Lady Layabout, yep, I got the same line the first time I tried, the second result was the lines from that clip. How he says sorry as well, as in "sorry, no mysterious hidden quest for you, try again next time"

Maybe this Inky did something that pissed the dude in the cave off. Maybe I shouldn't have killed Lord Woolsley, or maybe I killed too many nugs? Or not enough nugs?

Try to make Sera jump on the house. He would have nothing to do with my Lavellan, he said one line when Bull jumped on the cave and Varric had barely touched the cave when he gave the quest.

I killed lord woolsley. I dont know, it worked first time for me :/

Lol, this worked, kinda.

I jumped with Sera 50 times and she just got some drivel, and then as soon as I would jump on it even once with another companion, I'd get another line. Switched companions a few times and Dorian finally got me the quest I wuvz you Dorian. Now butthead can get his elfy crown of elven glory

Thats just BSN. I like it. Easter eggs are always fun. I also really like the flower crown. I was looking all game for some headgear that would fit cassandra and now ive found it.
